How To Overcome Sleep Paralysis

Pressed down on the bed by an invisible and scary spiritual force while asleep, that's one of the things many dread going to bed for. Even while sleeping during the day, at times it happens.

    Why Sleep Paralysis?

For some, the experience has become like a routine, so they rather stay up watching TV and wishing sleep doesn't come, only for them to fall asleep and bam... it strikes again! They're up again just within minutes and can't go back to sleep till daybreak.

This shouldn't sound new to most of you, it's common even among Christians. By estimation, more than 70% of humans on Earth do experience it. Science calls it sleep paralysis. But it's almost always totally futile trying to figure out spiritual realities by scientific observations, experiments and deductions. Scientists do not have a genuine and lasting solution to it either; Only JESUS CHRIST does.

Sadly that's the case for some; they dread their home and sleep at a friend's or neighbour's place at night.

    What Causes Sleep Paralysis

The answer is simple: demons, witches and warlocks. The devil takes pleasure in doing evil, whether it benefits him or not.

But woe to them! The LORD says. There shall be no peace for the wicked, especially those who find pleasure in denying themselves sleep in order to make life hell on Earth for an innocent soul.

Micah 2:1 KJV Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds! when the morning is light, they practise it, because it is in the power of their hand.

Sleep Paralysis is a direct attack from the enemy. Though I can't conclude on why it's carried out, it's safe to say that's it's meant to steal the peace of innocent people and make their life miserable.

The enemy came to steal, to kill and to destroy (John 10:10), but it is the will of our LORD Jesus Christ that we overcome every device of the enemy and keep him where he belongs: under our feet.

    How To Overcome Sleep Paralysis

The world itself is a spiritual battle-field, even unbelievers are involved, whether they know it or not. It's not until one becomes a Christian before they can undergo spiritual attacks. There are unbelievers whose dream life are so terrible. If you experience sleep paralysis, applying below guidelines will be of great help.

1). GET SAVED: The first step towards overcoming sleep paralysis is to genuinely get saved. The foundation of your victory is your salvation.

Romans 10:8-10 KJV But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; [9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. [10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

So give your life to Christ. Once you are His, all attacks from the enemy will become a walk-over.

2). MAKE SURE YOU'RE LIVING A HOLY LIFE: The opposite only opens the door for more attacks from the enemy and he won't leave because one gives him the right to be there by living in sin.

When we're totally consecrated and obedient to God, the enemy attacks will be counted as trespass and always punishable. So in that state, he can not touch such people when he wants. Even when he attempts to, he will always flee when they give the command by the Authority of Christ!

James 4:7 KJV Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

3). GET HOME CLEANSING DONE: Some homes and certain geographical locations are residents for demons due to one reason or the other. If you experience increased demonic attack, get your home cleansed through a genuine servant of God, if you can't do it yourself.

Some people do move into apartments which they have no idea who lived there before them or what happened. They end up having terrible nightmares. That makes getting the apartment cleansed a necessity. A territory occupied by a true child of God shouldn't be a living place for evil entities. Light dispels darkness.

4). GET PRAYERFUL: Be it witches, demons or whatever they call themselves, they all hate prayer. Attacks may intensify but they'll definitely back off because no evil can stand God's Power released through prayer.

Anyone who doesn't pray is an easy prey for the enemy and his cohorts.

5). GET OTHER BRETHREN TO PRAY FOR YOU: Asking for prayers from other brethren is always helpful. Don't underestimate the power of two or more Christians praying for you. It can do wonders.

6). THE MOVIES YOU WATCH: So your children saw the latest horror movie CD at the mall and insisted that you should get it and you did. These kind of movies attract evil spirits to a home.

So if you enjoy watching these trending zombies and vampire movies with your children, you're making your home a haunted hotspot.

Neither you nor children deserve having terrible nightmares due to movies, so watch the right things on TV. Get rid of ungodly movies from your home.

7). PRAY AND ANOINT YOUR APARTMENT BEFORE YOU GO TO BED: You may not see what's hanging at the window or tree close to the house and waiting for the family to go to bed. So it's safe to always ensure that your apartment is spiritually safe before going to bed.

Something may had attracted some evil energy during the day. Pray, take authority over the apartment and the surroundings, anoint your apartment before you go to bed. Ask the Holy Spirit to take over. That will always put off these entities and let you have a sound sleep.

8). GET RID OF FEAR: Whatever one fears is what happens. And wishes also do have power. Before I go to bed I always have it at the back of my mind that whatever comes for me I'm gonna teach it a lesson. And that's what always happens. We've been given the power. These things are under our feet and they should be afraid of us, not the other way round.

Luke 10:19 KJV Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

What you have at the back of your mind immediately before dozing off has 90% possibility of coming to pass when you sleep. So let it not be fear of the unknown.

9). STUDY, MEDITATE ON AND SPEAK THE WORD: The Word of God is powerful. Psalms of David pertaining to God's protection are still powerful. Read them out loud before going to bed. You'll sure have God's edge of protection.

10). DON'T FORGET TO ALWAYS APPLY THE BLOOD OF JESUS: The Blood of Jesus Christ is still active and powerful. No force of Hell can stand it. Apply it lavishly.

11). YOU CAN BREAK OUT OF IT BY THINKING OR CALLING THE NAME OF JESUS: This works for many, including unbelievers, but for some it doesn't because they neither have faith nor saved. But if you’re not yet saved and it works for you, that is not all. Get saved so that you will make heaven.

Mentioning or even thinking the name of Jesus has been known to always break the grip of sleep paralysis when it happens. They will always leave immediately if you have the authority to use that name.

    Final Words

Jesus Christ is the only One who can deliver man from all attacks of the enemy. We must learn to make Him our focus, and invite Him into our battle. On our own we can do it but with Him all things are possible.

We're victorious through Christ. We're seated with Him in Heavenly places. Know and always use your Authority in Him. Don't bring yourself down to the devil's level by disobeying God.

Go on and enjoy your eternal victory through Christ! Amen!

    How To Grow In Grace

The second book of Peter ended with the Apostle firmly admonishing the Church to grow in Grace and in the knowledge of our LORD Jesus Christ.

      2 Peter 3:18 KJV
But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

This admonishment didn't just apply to the Early Church alone but also to the end time Church. What does growing in Grace entail and why is it so important in a Christian's life? Let's trust the LORD to reveal to us in this article. Read on!

      Meaning of Growth

Growth according to Biology, refers to a permanent increase in the size and complexity of a living organism. Biology deals with living things, so does God. As long as a living organism is alive, it is expected to grow. If a living organism is not growing, there is a cause; either it's affected by nutrient deficiency or a disease. But in the presence of all favourable conditions, no living organism is permitted to refuse growing and bearing expected fruits. Same applies to believers.

      Evidence of true Spiritual Growth

The major evidence of true spiritual growth is productivity (not perfection according to worldly speculations). Maturity in Christ is not perfection. You'll agree with me that we're not yet totally like Christ, and that makes spiritual growth a continuous process.

Apostle Paul understood this. We could see that at the level he was, he was still hungry for more of the LORD. God is vast and inexhaustible, even mature Christians must continue growing in Grace.

Every Christian who is consistently growing in Grace is productive in the Kingdom. They have many fruits of the Holy Spirit manifest in their very lives; their gifts continually get fine-tuned to their best on daily basis for the LORD's use.

Meaning of Grace and Growing in Grace

Jesus Christ is Grace personified. He is the same person who works in His sons and daughters through the Holy Spirit to transform them into His image. Grace transforms, equips and enables us for service in the Kingdom. To grow in Grace is to grow in Christ. And the end product of spiritual growth is conforming to the very image of Christ.

      2 Corinthians 3:18 KJV
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Those who see Grace as a license to sin have gotten it twisted. Let's assume they don't know what Grace is, because true Grace enables us to live above the low life of sin.

Why We Must Grow In Grace

God expects everything He made to grow and keep growing until they complete their life span. He expects us to grow spiritually, it is very important to Him!

1). The Rapture and the Second coming of the LORD hasn't yet taken place, with many reasons behind it. One of them being that the Body of Christ (which is the Church) hasn't yet grown unto maturity in Christ, the Head.

      Ephesians 4:15 KJV
But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.

The Church is the major factor which is delaying the closure of this present age. She isn't yet ready. Many Christians are still 'playing church' and living a double life. The LORD will return when the Church is ready according to His own specifications. But let's pray He meets us ready.

      2. We must grow so that we don't get cut off from Him: God elevates His Word above His Name and His Word is true. He made it clear to us in John 15 that every branch of Him that refuses to grow and bear fruits risks getting cut off from Him. We don't want that to happen to us.

      John 15:1-2 KJV
I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. [2] Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

A quick reminder for us is what Jesus did to the unproductive fig tree in Matthew 21:19. Let's not think He can't likewise do that to unproductive Christians.

      Matthew 21:19 KJV
And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.

The evidence of true spiritual growth will always be productivity and fruitfulness. We can't tell God we're growing when we have nothing to show for it.

      3. Growing in Grace brings us to a place of deeper knowledge of God and walk with Him: Knowing God beyond who we think He is should be the desire of every true Christian. Growing in Grace will increase our level of intimacy with Him; it will give us access to the secrets of God and personal knowledge of Him beyond what we've heard and read! That is the same thing Paul desired; and the very same thing Peter told us to seek after:

      Philippians 3:10 KJV
That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death.

      2 Peter 3:18 KJV
But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

      4. We must grow in Grace so that we become fully useful to the LORD: The LORD never made us Christians so that we'll remain that way, doing nothing and expecting Him to come take us to Heaven.

Every genuine Christian has a ministry. There is a general calling on us to make Disciples of all Nations. It is the LORD's desire to see us allow Him work on us and transform us from ordinary believers to Disciples who are able to do same to others.

      Final Words

Growing in Grace is not an option, it's a command. We have no excuse not to grow and become more productive everyday. The LORD has placed the resources that will enable us do just that within our reach. A good place to start from is to get saved and get the Word of God in us:

      1 Peter 2:2 KJV
As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby.

The LORD wants to transform us into His own image and better our lives. He wants to use us in jaw-dropping ways, but the ball is in our court. We must intentionally allow Him to work on and grow us so that we will walk in the fullness of all that He has for us.

      How To Grow In Grace

      How To Hear God's Voice

True Christianity isn't a religion but a relationship with God Almighty, our Father through Jesus Christ our LORD. Just like every functional relationship, our relationship with God is kept lively through a constant 'two-way' communication (we talk to God through prayer and even through unspoken thoughts and He responds to us).

Religion is boring and full of dead works. People go to church, sing, dance, get back home and keep on repeating same for years; but yet still feel disconnected from God. Of course, there is no closeness in any relationship without communication!

God Wants Us To Hear Him

We are in a love relationship with God Almighty, our Father. And He desires to have a say over everything that concerns or bothers us. What matters to us matters to Him! He desires to share His thoughts with us concerning every vital decision or move we intend to make. He longs to hold conversations with us, yes, even long conversations!

God cares about every detail in our life and whatever goes wrong or right with us. He desires to become part and parcel of our daily life activities through constant communication.

No loving father would want to go for weeks without speaking to his children. God doesn't want us to go astray or be led astray; He doesn't want us to make costly mistakes; and He sure doesn't desire to see us walk the Earth blindly like sheep without a shepherd into the traps of the enemy. The LORD desires to speak to us as many times as possible each day of our lives on Earth! Interesting, isn't it?

The Bible says that the eyes of the LORD are [continually] upon the righteous and His ears are open to their prayers(Psalm 34:15).

You see, it's not that God isn't seeing everything we do and hearing all we say. And He doesn't just watch and listen throug the day and night just for watching and listening sake. He is also speaking! But are we also listening and hearing?

        Isaiah 30:21 KJV
And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

But one may wonder why some Christians still lack direction for their lives. Why do Believers still get confused concerning what they should do next, where to go next or what to do in a given situation? The answer is simple: God is speaking but only few are hearing.

These Things Hinder Us From Hearing God's Voice

        1). Excessive Worrying

We all get worried over certain things, problems or unfavourable situations around us. But staying worried is a choice. Our worries should lead us to the place of prayer. That's what the LORD expects.

        Philippians 4:6 KJV
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

        1 Peter 5:7 KJV
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

It is in the place of prayer that we will hear God's mind concerning the particular thing that got us worried. Right there we'll also receive the comforting touch of the Holy Spirit. But if we keep on feeding our worries, we cloud our ability to hear what God has to say concerning that situation.

        2). Loss of Inner Peace

Excessive worrying is one of the factors responsible for loss of peace. We must get rid of everything which steals our peace and does that constantly, if possible. When we lose inner peace, to a great extent we also lose our sensitivity to God's voice.

        3). A Restless Mind.

Excessive worrying and loss of inner peace will cause the mind to go on a rollercoaster of unprofitable thoughts. A restless mind will cause us to lose our sensitivity to God's voice. It's advisable to get in God's Presence, just worship and let the Holy Spirit calm those screaming thoughts and fill us with His holy peace.

It is also our responsibility to arrest ungodly thoughts and calm our minds so that we can hear God with clarity, even while walking on the street.

        Philippians 4:6-7 KJV
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. [7] And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

3). Lack of Personal Daily Devotion

Many Christian families do get together every morning to have morning devotions for some minutes or an hour, read few Bible verses and that's all for the day. In most families, it has become a religious routine. After that, individual family members go about their businesses for the day feeling satisfied that they've had their devotion for the day.

What did God say personally to them during the short morning devotion? That's a question many can't answer. We all need to cultivate the habit of getting in our closet alone and spend quality time with the LORD. Yes, God loves seeing two or three gather in His Name, but most importantly, He desires to have us come up to the throne of Grace in person, and on daily basis.

Daily communion with God is not just important but indispensable in our walk with the LORD. If we spend quality time studying God's Word, praying and worshipping everyday, hearing God everyday would be very easy. Most times God will speak by causing a Scripture we once stumbled on to unexpectedly pop up in our mind. That's one of the reasons why we should study and know His Word.

        4). Lack of Purity

When it comes to hearing God, the need to present our bodies, minds, hearts and our entire being as a living sacrifice unto Him can not be overemphasized. God loves sinners, no doubt about that. But we can not go about desecrating the temple of the Holy Spirit and expect to continue hearing God with clarity.

God is always close and speaking but sin interferes with man's spiritual sensitivity, especially to God's voice.

        2 Corinthians 6:16 KJV
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them ; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

        5). Disobeying God's Voice

        Psalm 32:8-9 KJV
I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. [9] Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.

When God instructs and we disobey, we do not expect Him to keep speaking. That's like speaking to a wall which has no ears. If we desire to hear God on daily basis we must learn to obey Him even in bits of everything we sense His instruction or leading.

Honestly, it gets to a point we walk on the streets and God tells us, "Don't go into that street!" and we retrace our steps only to later discover that something bad happened along that street. It goes far more detailed than that, only if we're willing to start obeying Him on the little we may think He's instructing us today. That makes us stay open to receiving and hearing more with greater clarity.

        Final Words

I write because God speaks to me. Looking back at the articles I've posted on this blog so far, I can only see how much I need to hear Him more and more, because I would have nothing impactful to write on if He didn't speak.

If I couldn't hear God for myself everyday, by now my life would had been a mess. I know how much that has helped me.

Now we know that God desires to speak to us everyday. God seems unreal to some Christians because they're having a hard time hearing Him. But the ball is in their court, not His. He said those who are His do hear Him:

        John 10:27 KJV
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

It's a relationship that we have with Him, not an intangible and vague connection. Our responsibility is to get in the position to hear Him through everything He uses to speak to us daily!

I'm trusting that the LORD will use this article to help someone hear Him more and on daily basis, in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen!

How To Hear God's Voice Everyday

        Harnessing God's Power

        A true Christian is extra-ordinary.

The sacrifice of our LORD Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary paved way for us to walk as Sons of God in the Earth realm, and nothing less! We are sons of God because we have God Almighty indwelling us, which is the Holy Spirit. To have God living in us is to have access to unlimited possibilities. Understanding who we are in Christ is the key that unlocks the door to walking in the reality of these very unlimited possibilities!

There is a striking difference between Christians and non-Christians: Unbelievers depend on their natural abilities to scale through the paths of life, but the LORD enables His Sons to go way beyond their natural abilities (according to the power that worketh in us)! Halle-lu-jah!

God never asked us to strive to live holy and strive to please Him by our human abilities. That would be us striving to keep the Law (which never works). He never said that we will achieve success and excellence in whatever we do without Him. The Holy Spirit in us is God's enabling Grace; He enables us to transcend our inherent human capabilities!

        Isaiah 11:2-3 KJV
And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord ; [3] And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord : and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears.

Ever achieved success without much stress? Are you witnessing jaw-dropping excellence in everything you do? Are people surprised to see you do so much within a short period of time? You'll agree with me that taking credits for such would be wrong. That is definitely God at work through you!

God working through us via the Holy Spirit makes us no match for comparison. He is the same Spirit who worked through Daniel. None could compare to Daniel among his colleagues. He was so different; so out of this world! His works were far past exquisite; they were not what an ordinary human being could accomplish. That was only possible through the operation of a spirit within; an Excellent Spirit!

Positioning Oneself To Harness God's Exceedingly Abundant Ability

The LORD indeed desires to use us in dimensions and to extent the human mind can not grasp, but we must position ourselves to be used of Him in that manner:

1). Possess The Mind of Christ and the Eyes of Faith

Our LORD never sees impossibilities. He sees possibilities all the time. He calls things which are not as though they were and they come into existence (Romans 4:17).

We must learn to visualize possibilities and expect their manifestation even before they manifest, because that's what always works!

For we walk by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7).

        Jeremiah 32:27 KJV
Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

        Jeremiah 32:17 KJV
Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee.

2). Shut Out the Voices of those Belittlers

Those who love belittling others and laughing at the slightest mistakes others make, you know them. Be quick to identify and shut out their voices from your life. It doesn't matter how many times you've tried and failed or how many times you didn't get things done perfectly, God says "you can!" and that alone you should allow to occupy your mind.

        Philippians 4:13 KJV
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

That Scripture wasn't written for fancy. The Word of God is God Himself. If He says we can, then that's it: we actually CAN! Shut out any other voice which says the opposite.

3). Have The Right Belief System

Some Christians had been taught wrongly. An instance is the teaching which stresses that women are not called to the Five-fold or shouldn't be in ministry. These are some of the things that hinder us from getting fully used of the LORD.

Some of us need to unlearn many things we learnt in the past from different religious organizations and sit down to feed on the truth of God's Word, so that we'll get a real picture of who God says we are. That is very vital to getting us set to be fully used of Him.

4). Let No Man Talk You Out of It

Yea, even in the Church, there are those who strive to talk us out of what God wants us to do because they understand we've been enabled to succeed in whatever we do. You can't afford to allow what man says or will say to prevent you from doing what God wants to do through you!

        Final Words

The Holy Spirit is God and He lives in us. He is God's "Grace" in us. So long we can't fit God into a box and limit what He can do, we also can't limit what God can do through us.

        Philippians 2:13 KJV
For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

One of prayer points had always been that the LORD uses me far beyond my imagination. You might also been praying similar one, but we must understand that when we ask Him to use us, we also have to be flexible to change, because He'll first of all bend, break and reshape us before we become as use-able as He desires.

We must also stay obedient and learn to ascribe all glory to Him for the things He's doing through us and for the ones He will do, as that opens the door for Him to use us more. Amen!

The LORD has been preparing and is now sending forth His End Time Army to do mighty exploits in all corners of the Earth. Get in the queue and don't miss this great move of God.

Stay pure and filled with the Holy Spirit:

        Ecclesiastes 9:8 KJV
Let thy garments be always white; and let thy head lack no ointment.

        Amen!

How To Harness God's Exceedingly Abundant Ability In You

        Redeeming Time, What It Means

Last night I went to bed at 2am, and at around 8am I was still fast asleep only to be sent out of sleep by this deep male voice which emphatically said to me, "REDEEM THE TIME, FOR THE DAYS ARE EVIL!"

My flesh was tired and needed a good sleep, I said to myself. But I happened to had over-slept (which never has a positive impact on me). Even while sleeping, I could see myself praying, but actually waking up to do it was difficult. The spirit is always willing, but let's be frank, most times we give the go-ahead for the flesh to be weak.

When I got up, the Holy Spirit expounded to me on this very message that came to me in my sleep and it wasn't just about me, but the entire Church; the end time Church!
I was taken back to this Scripture:

Ephesians 5:14-16 KJV Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. [15] See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, [16] Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Why We Must Redeem Time (As Christians)

First of all, let me use what happened to me this morning as a case study. Medical experts often recommend having sufficient sleep, great! Yet it's also medically proven that too much sleep ruins our health. One prevalent effect of either sleeping too long or laying too long in bed is weakness of sight. But let's view this beyond the physical, medical aspect of it. Because it goes farther than that.

A greater objection to the not rising early, the not redeeming all the time we can from sleep, is that it hurts the soul, as well as the body; it is a sin against God.

Imagine having a huge dog which only loves eating and sleeping all day and night. Then a thief comes around to steal. While stealing the dog is asleep only to be awakened by the thief's footsteps walking out of the house. With his drowsy eyes and weak limbs, he stands up staggering, tries to figure out what's happening and can't bark until the thief successfully escapes out of the building. Who would love to employ and keep a drowsy watchman? No one!

Slothfulness is also attributed to sleeping too much. How can a sleeping Church be an effective tool in the hands of God? What am I saying in essence? A sleeping Church is a lazy, blunt-edged, less-viable, less-productive and less-potent Church. I'm not talking about buildings but each and everyone of us who is truly saved. We can not be good soldiers of Christ when we're a self-indulgent, sleeping Church!

The enemy carries out his three-pronged assignment of stealing, killing and destroying (John 10:10) and gets away with it because the Church is sleeping.

          Matthew 13:25 KJV
But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

I went to bed late, fine, but before 8am I must had regained a lot of strength and the LORD expected me to be up and about the business for the day, so does He concerning the Church.

The Church is a living organism, not a lifeless building. The LORD expects us to be up and doing. The harvest is indeed plentiful but the labourers are still few.

The enemy gains more ground when Christians stop fighting, yes. Many have given up and many are presently caught up in the affairs of the world.

Many are also going through a lot in this season, no doubt, and some times it can be really painful, but it's part of our cross. The LORD has given us Grace to endure every form of hardship, and He expects us to still be the Church He must use so mightily to turn the world up-and-down!

          • How much time are we presently spending with God?
          • Does the LORD get greater percentage of our time than we give to ourselves and things that gratify self?
          • Do we still pray as much as we normally did before?
          • Do we still wake up in the middle of the night to crack down on the works of darkness with fiery prayers?
          • How close are we presently to God?
          • How presently devoted are we to the things of the Kingdom?

These are some questions we should all take personal and soberly reflect on.

It's not possible for a Christian to be truly devout without denouncing his sensuality. Consider a man who cannot rise early in his prayers. What conquest has he got over himself?

How We Can Redeem Time In The Last Days

We've had enough of sleep and the roof is already leaking and dripping through. It's high time to wake up and out of this spiritual slumber. That is the will of the LORD. But how do we go about it?

          1. Repentance

We all know where we've missed it in our relationship with the LORD and service in His Kingdom. Let none of us think we have outgrown repentance. The first step is always to truly admit we've messed up and then ask for the LORD'S forgiveness. He always forgives.

          2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

          2. Single-Eyed Pursuit of The Kingdom

This present world is not our home, we're God's ambassadors. We have an assignment committed to our trust. The way we handle that assignment has the power to determine our eternal fate. It is that serious! We should let nothing get in our way of carrying out and fulfilling our God-given assignment.

          2 Timothy 2:4 KJV
No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

          3. Living With Eternity In View At All Times

Let's not get so caught up with self, what we're going through and the world to the extent our focus gets misplaced from things that are eternal to things that are temporal. That's a very risky life to live!

          4. Stripping Off Weights That Draw Us Back

          Hebrews 12:1 KJV
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us , and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.

          5. Prudence, Rationality

It's just one life we've got on this present Earth. We must be careful not to live it out pleasing and displeasing God till the day it's taken from us. For when we step into eternity we can not turn back the hands of time to correct our mistakes. Every new day we wake up to see is another opportunity given us to do right.

          6. Diligence With Your Time

Brethren, time is short and must be spent wisely. It must be spent only on what matters and not on frivolities. Time is being abused so much, especially by Christians and that isn't having a positive impact on our spiritual growth and the Kingdom of God in general.

          Final Words

By our human strength we can not rise early to be about the Kingdom business. Our strength will always fail us, therefore we must make the Strong One, the Almighty, our closest friend.

          Isaiah 40:28-29 KJV
Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. [29] He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.

          Consider this;

          Matthew 24:43-47 KJV
But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. [44] Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. [45] Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? [46] Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. [47] Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

          1 Corinthians 9:24 KJV
Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.

list of Christian Universities in Nigeria

List of Christian Universities In Nigeria - Today, let's bring you a comprehensive list of Christian Universities in Nigeria (so far). One thing I've noticed is that these Christian educational institutions are very well-equipped with the necessary infrastructures, even more than most government-owned Nigerian Universities and Colleges.

            Christian Universities In Nigeria

Students of Christian Universities in Nigeria rarely complain about poor infrastructure, students unrest and incessant strike actions like their counterparts in other colleges.

Due to this very reason, those Nigerian parents who can afford the bills of these faith-based schools choose to enrol their children to church-owned universities in the country.

The Church in Nigeria has consistently played her role as the source of light in the nation. Despite hues and cries about the emergence of private universities, it is an irony that most public universities are persistently go on strike while church owned ones are functional. Presently some of the best universities in the nation are run by Nigerian Churches.

The impact of Christian Universities in Nigeria are not very apparent at the moment; however, from the look of things, it is safe to say that in at least a decade from now, Christian Universities in Nigeria will be outstanding in all ramifications.

Universities need adequate funding in order to be maintained and carry out research activities among others. Presently most public universities in Nigeria are grappling with these so much that there are plans to increase public university fees to about N250,000 per student while provision would now be made for student loans to be repaid at 5 per cent interest. This was the exact reason why Nigerian faith-based universities were criticized from the onset.

Of present, there are approximately 79 approved private universities out of a total 169 universities in Nigeria, 39 of which are Christian Universities. A further 15 are in different stages that would culminate to their approval.

List of Christian Universities In Nigeria (2019)

Dreams about being in school are common (among students and non-students alike). That one sees dreams about being in school doesn't actually mean they're going to start schooling soon.

Even those who have graduated from college or the university and will never go to school also have dreams about being in school.

We must understand that dreams are often symbolic. It is on rare occasions that dreaming about being in school do mean that one will soon start schooling in waking life.

The actual dream meaning of being in school goes way deeper. So follow up as we explore the dream meaning of being in school from a Christian perspective.

Dream Meaning of Being In School

A simple interpretation for dreams about being in school is that they are pointers to the fact that you are in a time of learning new things; a valuable time for developing yourself for your life purpose.

To better understand the meaning of our dreams about being in school, we have to take certain symbols in the dream into consideration and that includes:

              ⚫The kind of school,
⚫The level of education shown in the school dream,
⚫The class, and other symbols within the dream.

For everyone who has God's calling upon their life, the LORD often trains them in the school of the Spirit (yes, there's Spiritual school) before using them. To these category of people, school dreams may come more frequently.

Dreams about being in school are not the kind of dreams we should ignore, since they always have something important to communicate to us about our very life, purpose and destiny.

Dreams About Being In The Kindergarten

It is normal for kids to dream about learning with other kids in their kindergarten class, but same can not go for adults. For an adult to dream and see themselves attending classes that are meant for kindergarten kids means something very serious. It is a bad omen and a warning dream.

This dream often points to choices and actions people have made/taken in life that have completed reset their life status OR relationship with God back to level one.

              Hebrews 5:12 KJV
For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

Solution: Ask God for forgiveness. Ask Him to show you where you've gone wrong (if you already don't know). Ask the Holy Spirit to help you make amends so you can get back to the level you're supposed to be at your current point in life.

If you think you did nothing wrong, but this dream came as a form of attack from the enemy, you have the authority to pray against and destroy it.

Dreams About Getting Back In Primary School

If you happen to see yourself back in your primary school in dreams, while in waking life that is not your educational level, it is a form of backwardness or spiritual demotion.

⚫A form of backwardness in the sense that such dream came from the enemy (pray against it).

⚫Spiritual demotion in the sense that one made choices or took actions in waking life that seriously impacted their relationship with God negatively.

If we fail the simple tests that God allows us go through on daily basis and if one goes back to their past sins, it is possible to see such dream.

Solution: We know ourselves more than anyone else does, so it's easy to tell whether such dream came from the enemy or we messed something up somewhere. Pray accordingly, make amends where necessary and learn what God wants you to learn in order to go forward.

Dreams About Getting Back In Secondary/High School

If this is not your level of education in walking life, but you had such dream, the meaning is not far from that of getting back in the Primary School. Apply the same solution.

Dreams About Seeing Oneself In College/University

Even if you've already graduated from the college/university, but see yourself learning with other students in any higher institution, it is a good omen.

You've gone far in learning the things God wants you to know, you've learned from mistakes and are just a few steps towards starting to walk in and fulfil your God-given purpose/destiny. You're a mature Christian.

Dreams About Teaching Adults In School

To dream about you teaching youths, adults in a classroom is a good omen. It tells that you've learned from mistakes, you've passed your tests and acquired a lot of experience when it comes to your purpose in life.

SEE ALSO: Christian Dream Meaning About Writing Exams and Tests

You're well-equipped for your purpose/ministry/destiny. You're beginning to walk in your God-given purpose and God is pleased with you. You're a mature Christian able to disciple and bring others to maturity in Christ.

Summary & Conclusion On School Dreams

It is the will of God that we make progress in life to become who He destined us to be and walk in the fullness of all that He has in store for us. But before we get there, He will have to train and equip us.

Many have experienced stagnancy in life because they often see themselves back in the old classroom of their childhood school with the same students who were in that class, but won't pay attention to the dream.

School dreams shouldn't be ignored and discarded as 'just a dream'. They should be paid close attention to and prayed about because that can be God speaking to you.

              SCHOOL Christian Dream Meaning

Dreaming about writing exams or tests is a common occurrence among true Christians. Some people write it off as just a dream if it is seen by those who are still in school (students). But what about those who have graduated from school but still seeing themselves writing tests or exams in their dream?

Not denying the fact that it is normal for students to have such dreams (maybe due to anxiety that comes before exams), but the truth is that the reason why people have such dreams  go way beyond being in school.

Dreams about writing exams and tests should be paid close attention to, especially when they seem to be recurring. God is trying communicate something serious about the life of the dreamer.

Basic Reasons For Having Exams and Test Dreams

Let us explore the basic reasons why people have exams and test dreams.

                For Students:

⚫If exams are approaching, it's not strange to dream about sitting for exams. Such dreams often come from the mind, due to the fact that the student is thinking about their exams.

⚫God may choose to use exams dreams to show Christian students what their performance will be like in an upcoming exams.

⚫God may use exams dreams to show Christian students the plan of the enemy against their academics.

Let me stress that, the dreams given as instances above are often not as serious. Because the reason for having exams and test dreams go way beyond the fact that one is a student, they often leave a lasting impression in the spirit of the dreamer.

                For Others:

⚫Having recurring exams and test dreams is an indication of God's calling upon your life.

⚫Exams and test dreams come before spiritual and physical promotion.

⚫Exams and test dreams are pointers to how one is working towards their destiny and the level at which they are in the process of doing so.

Dream Meaning About Writing Exams and Tests

Dream meanings about writing exams and tests can be easily explored when we use the above listed factors as our compass.

Besides that, if it is a God-given dream, He often ensures He leaves a footprint: a very strong impression in the spirit of the dreamer to tell them what it's all about and how serious it is.

                Job 33:14-15 KJV
For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not. [15] In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed.

When Christians have recurring dreams about writing tests or exams, the meaning is not far-fetched: it speaks of trails and trainings God is taking them through in life.

God doesn't tempt anyone. He tests. Before we attain new heights in Him or higher levels of spiritual growth, we will possibly have successive examsor tests dreams. Our performance in such dreams will determine whether we're ready for the next level or not.

It's very common for true servants of God to have exams and tests dreams because God is taking them from glory to glory.

Follow up as we explore common exams/tests dreams people have and their meanings.

Sitting For Exams Below One's Level

To see oneself sitting for exams that are below one's level of education in waking life is a bad omen and a warning. Such dreams option indicate that one has made choices and taken actions that have drawn them backwards in life and their relationship with God.

This sort of dreams often speak of backwardness in the dreamer's life and should be taken very serious.

Those who have such dreams should have a rethink of how they've lived their life of recent and make amends (where necessary) for a better future.

Unable To Answer Questions In Test/Exam Dreams

Dreaming about sitting for tests or exams but you were unable to answer any question or just a question or two speaks of one's unpreparedness towards embracing their challenges and overcoming their God-endorsed trials in life.

The exams questions may appear as such you've never been taught or you may know all the questions to be very simple but still can not answer any.

SEE ALSO: Christian Dream Meaning: Sex Dreams

Understand that the enemy will always tempt man with his favorite sin, but God on the other hand will use that as a test. If we often fall for the same temptation over and over again, God will not take us to the next level of spiritual growth.

                1 Peter 4:12 KJV
Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you.

Some times, God will allow challenges in our waking life and watch how we respond and react to them [Remember Job]. If we keep reacting with self-pity, fear and lack of faith, then we've failed the test.

                James 1:12 KJV
Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

Our responsibility is to pay close attention to our ways, understand what God wants us to do; the lessons He wants us to learn at every level and act accordingly.

Writing and Cancelling in Exams/Test Dreams

If you saw yourself sitting for exams or test where you knew answers to the questions, you were answering them but made mistakes that made you cancel your answers and re-write them over and over again, this speaks of lack of diligence.

The dreamer must be diligent towards addressing the problems in their waking life. It's wrong to conclude we know God too much and don't need His guidance to overcome obstacles in life.

We must seek wisdom from God and apply diligence towards carrying out every task He gives us and overcoming every temptation and trial that comes our way.

Don't be desperate towards becoming all that God destined you to be. Pay close attention to details.

                Cheating In Exams/Test Dreams

There are no good shortcuts to a fulfilled destiny. We can not jump-start new levels in our life and relationship with God. We can not force promotions in life. We must merit them all.

Dreaming about one cheating in exams or tests often point to one's lack of a sincere heart towards God and hastiness in life. We must be willing to go through every process that is necessary for our promotion.

We know that cheating in exams can bring dire consequences. We must understand neither our relationship with God nor our destiny are things we should toy with.

Experiencing No Difficulty Answering Questions In Exam/Test Dream

This is really a good omen. Such dreams tell us that we've done well in going through our trials the way God expects; we've overcome our trials; we've grown immensely in Spirit.

Whenever you have such dreams, know that God is pleased with the way you're handling everything happening in your life; You're doing really great in your relationship with God; you've learned to overcome temptations you always fell for; you've learned the things God wants you to learn.

Spiritual and physical promotion will always accompany the dreamer in waking life. Pray and affirm this.

                Summary & Conclusion

Exams and Test dreams are usually a very delicate one. We must pay close attention to such dreams as they may either point to how we're living our life, how God wants us to live and the level we are in life.

Our trials are necessary for us to become all that God destined us to be in life, we must embrace them.

God trains us before using us. So exams and tests dreams may come frequently if we're not yet where God wants us to be but still in the process of getting there.

God don't skip tests. If we fail, we will go through it again until we pass it. We must learn to cooperate with Him.

This dream interpretation is not exhaustive. We should consult the Holy Spirit for interpretation if we have exams/tests dreams that are outside the scope of what is written here.

Dream Meaning About Writing Exams and Tests

Many Christians are gifted writers who have always dreamed of starting a Christian blog, but they don’t really know how to go about it. Some seem to think that blogging is like writing a long story and posting it to their Facebook wall, then sitting back to see hundreds of likes and comments troop in (no pun intended). I used to think the same way until I realised blogging is a bit different.

Sites like Facebook have been in the business for a very long time. They are already established in terms of building a wide variety of audience. It's very easy for people on Facebook to find your post seconds after you publish it and then begin to read, react and comment on them. This means that if new Christian bloggers want to get found and be read in the crowded blogosphere, they need to follow a few key practices when they first begin their blog.

They also need to follow some best practices as they continue writing and building their audiences.

Why You Should Start A Christian Blog

The blogosphere has long enough been dominated by worldly and secular blogs whose owners post nothing close to such that glorify God or edify any Christian reading them. It's just of recent that I've noticed Christians starting to show interest in blogging. And to add to that, I'll say it's disappointing to see most of these Christians starting blogs about gossip, sports, celebrities and other worldly stuffs.

For a long time now, the devil has used the internet to pull more souls into hell, and I believe it's high time we Christians rise up and take the blogosphere by storm! We can't sit and watch the enemy use the internet to do what pleases him while we do nothing. The internet belongs to God, and it's our responsibility to dominate it!

Having also noticed that many Christian blogs are being started everyday, I believe more will keep coming. I encourage you to think on starting one if you're led to. I'm very sure God will be pleased.

Steps Toward Starting A Successful Christian Blog

                  1. Pick A Niche

It is true that many Christians are gifted writers and would like to start a Christian blog, but at the same time, some don't know exactly what to narrow down to when it comes to writing a Christian blog.

Your niche is the major subject of your blog; the very thing that came into mind when you first thought of writing a Christian blog. Your blog topics should revolve around your niche.

In case you have no idea on what your blog niche should be, you can take a clue from a few Christian niches below:

                  • Devotionals
                  • Christian Marriage
                  • Christian Motherhood (For Women)
                  • Faith and Business
                  • Christian Musicians BiographiesChristian Music
                  • Christian Ebooks Reviews
                  • Christian Ebooks Free Downloads (Copyrighted materials can get your blog shut down!)
                  • Christian Courtship/Relationship Tips
                  • Christian Marriage Counseling
                  • Christian Bloggers

When choosing your niche, be sure it is something you enjoy writing on. Your niche must be such that you won't run out of ideas on what to write or experience a burn-out.

Your niche must also be interesting, likewise your blog topics (no one wants to read some boring stuff).

If you can multi-task, you can as well pick more than one Christian niche. When I started this blog, I had so much in mind to blog about. But I'll advise you only do that if you're Graced to handle many niches and in such a way they won't make your blog look cluttered and untidy.

                  2. Pick A Fitting Domain Name

Your domain name is your blog identity. Choosing a domain name must be done with diligence. Pick a name that will speak to anyone concerning what your blog is all about. A domain name like 'foodiegirlblog' is fit for a food blog run by a female, not a Christian blog. So get a bit creative when choosing a name for your blog.

Naming your blog after yourself is a bad decision. Not saying it's a form of pride; but the fact is that you'll struggle to rank that blog since the name isn't related to any Christian niche you'll write on.

When you've picked a name you like for your blog (and are sure others will like it too), head on to domain name registras like Godaddy and NameCheap to purchase your domain.

Once you're there, make sure you purchase a Top Level Domain (TLD). Examples of top level domains are domains with '.com, .net and .org' extensions.

                  3. Choose A CMS For Your Blog

Content Management Systems (CMS) are platforms on which blogs are built. Examples of popular content management systems are:

                  Etc.

Some content management systems require you to pay to host your blog on their platform (WordPress being an example of such), while few others offer free hosting for your blog (like Google Blogger). This blog is hosted free of charge on Blogger.

When it comes to choosing a CMS for your blog, you have to take certain factors into consideration. Factors like SEO-Friendliness, Site Speed, Security etc of the CMS must be taken into consideration. WordPress has a good rating when it comes to SEO-friendliness but it's a bit expensive, I won't recommend it for a newbie blogger.

Blogger is Google-owned blogging platform. It's very secure (more than WordPress). It has a superb Content Delivery Network (CDN) which makes blogs hosted on it super-fast. I went with Blogger for iBlogGospel.com since it's way more secure, fast and free to host your blog.

Unless you're a genius in blogging and have enough money to pay for monthly or yearly hosting of your blog, then you can go for WordPress. I started on Blogger and am not planning on migrating to WordPress any time soon. As a matter of fact, there are people wishing they never created their blog on WordPress, because they end up not making a dime from their blog while they keep paying for hosting every month.

                  4. Get Basic Knowledge on Programming Languages

Programming languages are the skeleton that hold the structure of every blog and website on the Internet. Every blogger must be knowledgeable (to an extent) in these basic programming languages:

                  ⚫HTML (needed for Blogger)
                  ⚫Javascript (needed for Blogger)
                  ⚫CSS (needed for Blogger)
                  ⚫PHP (needed for WordPress)

If you intend to host your blog on Google Blogger platform you'll need basic knowledge in Javascript, HTML, and CSS. You'll have to learn the basics of these to be able to set up and design your blog on the Blogger platform. For example, CSS is behind the design of iBlogGospel. You can learn these basics yourself at W3SCHOOLS.

                  5. Launch Your Blog

Once you've had the above options all in place and are well-equipped with the basic knowledge to start blogging, go ahead and launch your Christian Blog.

Why You Should Have A Quality Christian Blog

Some times when I browse through the web and stumble on some Christian blogs, I get disappointed and click on the back button. I believe that is same with many other people. Being a Christian Blogger doesn't mean we should care less about the quality of our blog. Blogging needs diligence. Below are some factors we must take into consideration when starting our Christian blog:

                  1. Write Quality, Irresistible Blog Posts

Be creative. Your blog articles should be worth the time of your readers.

Your number one priority when starting a Christian Blog shouldn't be to make money (that can come afterwards), but to provide value to your blog readers. If you don't want people to stay away from your blog and if you want your blog to rank well on search engines, you have to write quality blog posts with at least a thousand words or more. Your blog posts must be compelling enough to make people read to the very last word.

If you check this blog, the only section you'll find short posts are within the gospel music audios, videos and lyrics categories; and that's because there is nothing much to write there. Move on to check the Devotionals and Teachings section and see the difference.

                  2. Ensure Your Site Is Fast

Bounce rate is the rate at which people stumble on your blog and quickly get back out of it. People are too busy to wait for your blog to load for ONE WHOLE MINUTE (gosh!) and am one of them!

High bounce rate is bad for your blog and will negatively impact your rankings. Learn best practices and ensure that every page on your blog loads and displays fast.

                  3. Have A Neat And Attractive Blog Design

People browse the web with their eyes, not with their legs. If your blog design sucks, you'll lose blog readers as no one will be willing to return to read your blog after their first visit. Having an ugly and untidy blog will be a turn-off for many.

The fonts on your Christian blog shouldn't be too tiny, too large or too fanciful. If the fonts and color combinations on your blog are such that will give your readers eye defects, they will stay away from your blog.

                  Some Salient Points To Note

⚫Having a Christian blog is not only fun, it's a ministry. If you don't feel led to start a Christian blog and if you don't love writing, there's no point starting a blog.

⚫It is advisable to pray and ask God to confirm to you if it is His will for you to start a Christian blog or not, before going ahead to start one.

⚫Understand that running a life-changing Christian blog is running an online ministry. It must be prayerfully done, knowing that the enemy attacks everything that is of God.

                  Conclusion

Running a successful Christian blog doesn't mean making a lot of money from your blog. It means blogging meaningfully, impacting lives through your blog posts and being certain that God is pleased.

To run a Christian blog is not the same as running other blogs. To be a successful Christian Blogger, your spiritual gifts must be in operation. It's a spiritual service and you'll need your gifts.

Blogging is hard work. Much patience and perseverance is required. No one builds a successful blog in one day and starts reaping the benefits. If you get the basics right, your blog will grow everyday as you make daily modifications and retouching here and there to make it better.

The Blogosphere and Blogging evolves on daily basis, so should the blogger. In the blogging world, no blogger knows it all. A serious blogger learns a new thing everyday. So, keep learning, upgrading and evolving. Break limits and have an awesome Christian Blog!

                  Be blessed!

How To Start A Successful Christian Blog In 2019

Dreams should not be taken lightly. Every dream we have while asleep has something spectacular to communicate to us. Most dreams are reality (some of us don't believe this but it's high time we do). Your dreams reflects your current spiritual state. Your dreams speak a lot.

Dreams of seeing oneself or someone else naked should never be taken lightly, as they may pose serious effects to that person's life or destiny.

                    Christian Dream Meaning: Naked

                    1. To see oneself naked in dreams often represents shame, vulnerability, fear, spiritually uncovered or a lack of spiritual covering/protection (Isaiah 47:2).

                    2. Dreams of being naked also means lost glory (Genesis 3:7)

                    3. Some dreams where one sees his/herself naked also means transparency (Genesis 2:25)—but on rare occasions.

                    4. Naked and feeling no shame means covered in God’s glory, freedom, having nothing to hide and not afraid to be vulnerable symbolizing openness and honesty (Genesis 2:25)

How To Apply Dream Meaning of Being Naked

The context or setting of the dream will determine if the dream is representing shame or transparency.

How Does One Fall Into Shame?

One can lose glory or fall into shame as a result of disobedience. In such a case, the hedge of protection (Job 1:10) is broken and you might be defenseless, exposed or open for attack.

What’s The Remedy to Dreams of Being Naked?

War in the Spirit to destroy the attacks of the enemy against your glory. Add fasting to it if led. Read and pray with Psalm 51, stay obedient to God so as to stay under His protection. Upgrade your prayer life.

New EBook: The End Time Christian Hell Dreads

Popular Nigerian Gospel singer, Pastor and Worshiper, Nathaniel Bassey recently took to his Instagram page to share his relationship experience. He captioned it “From Heartbreak To Praisebreak“.

I find it an amazing and educative story to share with you. I believe you'll learn a thing or two from it. Remember to share with your friends before leaving.
                    Read Below;

I have shared the story of one of the toughest times I experienced. However, one which led to meeting my wonderful wife. I hope these tips help you if you are in a similar situation. A Heartbreak can become one of the most powerful forces of change in your life.

I got a call from my ex saying “This Thing is over.” Now this was tough. Especially coming from someone I thought could worship the very ground I walk on. At least so I thought. I never felt a pain that sore in my whole life. I mean, I’ve lost some loved ones, but this pain was in a class of its own. All efforts to get her to talk failed. So I prayed, and was convinced I had to move on.

So I went through the following process.

                    1. I made sure I experienced healing in GOD’s presence. You see, many times people don’t get healed before they jump into another relationship. I made up my mind not to use someone as my temporal pain reliever. So I spent time Worshipping, and just shedding the tears before my Father in heaven. Then I was led to listen to some sermons which spoke to my situation. This process led to the next.

                    2. The more I spent time with God, The easier it was to FORGIVE! People! You’ve got to FOOOOORRRRGIVE. This isn’t just for your “heartbreaker.” It’s more for YOU! You will definitely hurt someone if you jump into another relationship without experiencing and giving forgiveness.

                    3. Get lost in GOD. In fellowship and His Service. Make the Holy Spirit your lover, friend and companion. Let Him shed His love abroad in your heart. Serve God. Get busy for God that you can’t even remember anything RELATIONSHIP (with the opposite sex ), of course until God says it’s time.

                    4. Then as you begin to sense God stirring your heart in the direction of a relationship, do an objective appraisal of your life. I said to my self, “Nath? Sentiments apart, the way your life was, would you marry YOU? It’s very easy to get upset and bitter when such happens, but we never really sit down to ask ourselves why? I began to see areas of my life that needed upgrades, spiritual, physical, personal development, ministry, character and overall vision as a young man.

                    5. I wish I can shout this from a roof top. PLS DON’T TRY TO PROVE ANY POINT TO YOUR EX. If you have thoroughly gone through levels 1-4, The Holy Spirit would have done so much work of transformation within you. And while in the stage of appraising your life and ready to make adjustments and upgrades, it would never be to prove a point to your ex or people. Many have made hasty decisions in the flesh including making bad marriage choices, career, business, relocation choices etc all because they wanted to prove they too can “marry” and be successful. If you truly yield to God’s work, you will come out with one attitude —— , GRATITUDE! And like David say, it was good that I suffered…” Psalm 119:71.

                    6. This is important… So you can move on and begin a fresh start, BREAK TIES and contact with the Ex, if possible. This is not malice. But this is perhaps for the time being so you can really put closure on things. A time will come when you are able to relate without any sort of attachments and emotional ties. Many wonder why they can’t seem to move on, and when you look, you find certain connections still active. Messaging on social media etc.

                    7. When you begin sensing a leading into another relationship this is what you should do, PRAY. When you meet someone and begin having feelings for them, that is not a green light for another relationship. That feeling says to you IT’S TIME TO PRAY. Remember feelings are also internal chemical reactions. And Trust me, if you went through what I went through, you don’t ever want to enter casually next time.

                    8. And when you meet that right person, and see what you went through and what God has done, you’d give him a praise break. You also won’t compare this new person with the other. Because you have been HEALED, FREE & GROWN. And if the heartbreak was a terrible one, the kind that could be described as evil done you, you would come out feeling Compassion for the other person, rather than Bitterness.
And just to add, one way to forgive also, is PRAYING for the other person. It’s tough, but a mystery that works miracles.
                    Hope this blessed you.

TOPIC: GOD, YOU AND YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM

                      TEXT: Isaiah 38:2-3 KJV
Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed unto the Lord , [3] And said, Remember now, O Lord , I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.

You And Your Relationship With God

A relationship with God starts from His amazing love and grace reaching out to us. It’s always been the desire of God to reveal Himself to us since creation. Our relationship with God therefore begins the moment we accept Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Saviour

Until We're Saved, We're Dead In Sin

                      Ephesians 2:1 KJV
And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins.

                      Romans 5:12 KJV
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.

                      Jesus Christ came to do what we could not do for ourselves;

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16).

So you can begin your personal relationship with God by putting your faith in Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord.

That is the foundation of your relationship with God; the very foundation on which every other thing I'll be saying here will be built.

You may find it helpful to express your new faith in words similar to these:

Dear God, I know that my sin has separated me from You. Thank You for sending Your Son to die in my place. I now trust Jesus to forgive my sins. I invite Him into my life as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for receiving me into Your eternal family. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

If there is anything many Christians in our days and times have so much abused, taken for granted and toyed with, it's their relationship with God.

Why has it become so easy for Christians to value their relationships with their boyfriends, girlfriends and spouse more than their relationship with God?

Why is it easy for Christians to cry over their relationships with their boyfriend/girlfriends/spouse if they lose it but care less about the state of their relationship with God?

One of the major reasons why the Church is lacking greater works and impact in our present day Christianity is due to the fact that many Christians are playing with their relationship with God.

Asides the fact that many are faking being a Christian, many who are truly Christians don't give in much efforts towards working on their relationship with God.

                      What is happening, Christians?

Many are satisfied with getting saved, going to church and having a job. To them, that's living a fulfilled life.

Many are satisfied with having their daily material needs met. So long they have their daily bread; have new clothes and shoes to wear; to them that's a fulfilled life.

Many are pursuing a relationship with the opposite sex, but not many are pursuing a relationship with God

There's this saying: Pursue a relationship with God, He'll give you the one for you at the right time.

We cannot continue having our priorities misplaced!

I can conclude that the Lack of desire to pursue a relationship with God is the evidence of lack of genuine love from the heart for God and the things of God.

Even the zeal for the work of God emanates from our love for Him.

Why should we love mundane thing more than God?

Come to think of it...He is the air we breathe; the very life we live.

Jesus Christ is the Creator God, He sustains everything and keeps them alive and in motion within the palms of His hands.

What if He stops sustaining us at any hour? It would be too late to seek Him.

God doesn't ask for much, He asks to be loved. He first loved us. Let's kill the mindset that tells us that God doesn't desire to be loved in return. The Lord doesn't only want to love but to be loved in return!

Let's understand that God doesn't exist for man but man exists for God. We were created for His pleasure. God doesn't exist to chase after man. Man exists to chase after God.

But why is it that some Christians only come to have their needs met by God, and that's all, not for relationship? And if God refuses to meet their long list of needs according to their specifications, they fall away so easily and look for other means. We need sober reflection!

Christianity is not a religion. The true meaning of Christianity is having a relationship with the Father through the Son, Jesus Christ... on a personal level. It's a personal race. God needs you in person. He yearns for a relationship with you in person, and not just any kind relationship but an intimate relationship.

Do you have an intimate relationship with God? Is the present state of your relationship with God up to the level you can term it as 'intimate'?

Unfortunately, many come to God to seek His hand, not His heart.

We need to revisit the foundation on which our personal Christian life stands to ascertain whether it's genuine or not, solid or shaky.

Until we seek a relationship; an intimate one, with our Creator, I must confess, we haven't lived up to the purpose for our existence!

Man was created for relationship with his Creator. Before their fall, there was this extraordinarily close affinity that existed between Adam and Eve with God. That is what man was created for. We were never created to live a life so self-centered and disconnected from God

How many times do we hear God per day? That was a normal routine for Adam and Eve; it was a relationship with constant communication. That's how it's meant to be with everyone who says they're God's.

IMPROVING OR BUILDING A BETTER RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD

Now that you've heard and have possibly spotted where you've slacked in your relationship with God, can you improve your relationship with God? The answer is definitely Yes!

Let’s turn for help to the seventeenth-century Puritan John Owen. In his classic writing, "Communion with God", Owen says:

Our communion with God consists in his communication of himself to us, with our return to him of that which he requires and accepts, flowing from that union which in Jesus Christ we have with him. (Works, Vol. 2, 8–9, modernized).

Here, Owen makes distinction between “union” and “communion.”

In the gospel, through faith, we have union with God in Christ.

From start to finish this union is God’s gracious work toward us. But this union leads to **communion** with God — a genuine, two-way relationship of give-and-take in which our involvement matters.

So we can go ahead and split our relationship with God into two parts:

                      1. The Union With God.

                      2. The Communion with God.

                      1. The Union With God: This is the basis of our relationship with God. It is the foundation of our relationship with Him. A union with God is initiated once we get saved. We can't improve on our union with God. It's God's work. When we were yet sinners, God sent His Son to die for us, so that we can be reconciled back to Him. We're saved by Grace, not works. That's union and we have no work to do there.

When we sin we can always fall back to our union with God, the foundation of our relationship with Him and expect Him to catch us. Union is like Level one of man's relationship with God.

                      2. The Communion with God: We can improve on our communion with God. This is the same place where our emphasis lies pertaining to the theme of the conference.

In communion, we seek to ascended from level one of our relationship with God unto other levels. In Communion there is a real giving and receiving. There is loving and being loved.

If we spend quality time with God each day, communing with Him, you're bound to receive something in return and ascend to higher levels in the ladder of man's relationship with Him. If we don't, we remain in level one (union).

                      2 Corinthians 3:18 KJV
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Under communion, what we do makes a real difference in our experience of our relationship with God.

Under communion, if one were to be in level 3 of their relationship with God, one careless sin can send one back to level 1 (union). Yes, God won't forsake but you're back to level one in your relationship with Him

I don't know if someone here is getting me.

Now... the truth is that many Christians are stagnated Perpetually in level 1 (union).

They sin and cry... asks God for forgiveness... God forgives... they try ascending off level one again... then they disobey God again and think, "Well, He always forgives". He will forgive, but you're still stuck in level one.

That is why many Christians are operating below par. They're operating below the level God destined them to because:

                      * They've not yet submitted their self-will to God
                      * They're still struggling with secret sins
                      * They still love specific sins, to the level they're not yet ready to give it up for greater glory
                      * They've not yet Crucified their flesh
                      * They've not yet Crucified their Self

They're stuck in a kind of circle of rebelling against God, asking for forgiveness and rebelling again. No one ever builds an intimate relationship with God this way.

There are levels within levels of relationship with God that man can attain. Had it been we could grasp this simple logiv with our finite minds, we would understand that nothing is worth denying us the ascension to greater levels in Him.

Besetting sins are a distraction to those who don't know what they'll gain by letting go of them

When I remember people like Moses, am always thrilled. God loves us all but God has favorites. There's is more to remaining at level one relationship with God. Those who want to remain in level one are still in the outer courts.

There is a place...It is called The Secret Place, and Very few Christians are there. God's favorites are there. Moses was there. That is the place of intimate relationship with God.

It takes denying oneself and the pleasures of this world and desires of the flesh to get there. It takes total submission and obedience to God to get there. Only completely yielded vessels are there.

                      Psalm 25:14 KJV
The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.

The secret of the Lord is not with everyone. That is why every Christian doesn't operate within the same level. One can't operate beyond the level of Revelation God grants them and the level of His Glory they possess and reflect.

                      Numbers 12:6-8 KJV
And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the Lord will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream. [7] My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house. [8] With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the Lord shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?

Why did God give such preference and special treat to Moses? The answer is simple: intimate relationship.

                      Numbers 12:7 KJV
My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house.

The LORD says, "Come up hither". There is more.

Don't just be satisfied with getting saved and making Heaven.

                      There is more.

How much impact are we personally making on Earth as a Christian?

No Christian can impact the world beyond their level of relationship with God.

The quality of the relationship we have with God is our source.

People are seeking strange powers to manifest impact, signs and wonders in ministry because they don't want to humble themselves and seek God's face. They don't want to pay the price. That is not the will of God for your life. You were created to love Him; to know Him. Once you there, He'll manifest His life & power through you. You'll only be a conduit of His Voice and Power

                      Make no mistake about this:

Christian perfection isn't human perfection. God's purpose is to make us one with Himself. Christian perfection is the perfection of a relationship with God that shows itself to be true even amid the seemingly unimportant aspects of human life.

CAN YOUR current relationship with GOD COMPEL HIM TO MOVE ON YOUR BEHALF ON THE BASIS OF the QUALITY OF THAT SAME RELATIONSHIP?

                      Can you boldly tell God,

"Oh Lord, out of the relationship I have with you, intervene in this situation!" and that moves Him into action? Think about it.

Let's connect back to the Scripture of the theme:

                      Isaiah 38:1-5 KJV
In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord , Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live. [2] Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed unto the Lord , [3] And said, Remember now, O Lord , I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore. [4] Then came the word of the Lord to Isaiah, saying, [5] Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the Lord , the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years.

If you go through 2 Kings, you'll see the story about the life and times of Hezekiah.

Hezekiah was one of the most obedient Kings to rule Judah. He did what was pleasing to the Lord all through. He destroyed idols and alters that were made to other gods. His relationship with the Lord was rock-solid.

God has given you the assignment to destroy the demonic alters in your family, yet your own life is not even yet in total submission to Him...

Am I speaking to someone here? That relationship with God is shaky.

A message then came to Hezekiah... "Hezekiah, it's your time to die"

And what was his response? Hezekiah wasn't just reminding God the things he did for God... that would be too shallow.

He spoke on the basis of the relationship he had with the Lord and God couldn't resist it. He added more 15yrs to him. Can we speak that same way?

Is our current relationship with God up to the level we can speak that way & it compels God to move on our behalf?

God is looking for hungry, thirsty people. People who are tired of average Christian life which almost everyone is living.

Hezekiah said he walked before God in truth and with a perfect heart. That was a man like us. Can we personally say that to God without feeling guilty? God is looking for such men.

It's time to revisit your relationship with God (if you already have one). Revisit and see what sort it is... Whether it's up to standard.

Some of us here... our relationship with God cries for help. If we don't live for God, what is our gain? If I don't gain Him, I gain nothing!

At the level which Apostle Paul was, he wasn't satisfied. He still hungered and thirsted for more, and it was evident in his words:

"That I may know Him.. and the power of His resurrection.. "

How much more this generation of Christians? Greater is expected of us. To whom much is given much is expected.

May God revive in us that first love for Him. For those who don't have, may He plant the love for Him in their lives

Thank you Father for speaking to us through this vessel this night. Your word never returns without accomplishing its purpose. Father I know that you are already at work in the lives of these ones. Let your will alone & not our will be done in our lives. May all Glory, Honour & Adoration be ascribed to you, in the Name of your Son, Jesus Christ... Amen.
