How To Overcome Nightmares and Lucid Dreaming

Christianity is not a bed of roses. Neither God nor His Word in the Holy Bible did promise us a challenge-free Christian life. We are in a battle field and every genuine Christian is involved, whether they know it or not.

The enemy came to steal, to kill and destroy(John 10:10). And you'll find out that the Word of God never said we should deny his existence. The Holy Bible tells us that the enemy roams about like a roaring lion, looking for whom to devour and for that we shouldn't be ignorant of his devices.

    1 Peter 5:8 KJV
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

    2 Corinthians 2:11 KJV
Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

As a matter of fact, nightmares get worse with those who deny the existence of the devil. We are instructed to know that he exists, recognize his assignment and devices, so that we'll know the right way to put him under our feet by the authority and power of God Almighty. It is easier to resist the enemy when we know his tactics and that is what the Bible instructs:

    1 Peter 5:9 KJV
Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
Getting on Google, I tried to deduce the percentage of those who are victims of persistent nightmares and happened to find out that there are very many out there whose life the enemy has made living Hell through nightmares.

This isn't limited to Christians, even unbelievers get weird nightmares in their sleep... or maybe some times the worst of it.

It's funny and at the same time saddening to discover that doctors and psychologists also strive to proffer solutions to nightmares. I don't see this as a medical issue. Anti-depressant pills or whatever kind of medications and counselling from so-called 'experts' can not provide solutions to nightmares. Our weapons of warfare are not carnal (2 Corinthians 10:4).

    What Nightmares Actually Are

Simply put, nightmares are what many term as "bad dreams". They always tend to leave many in fear, shock, sadness and depression. Many resort to medical and psychological treatments for nightmares but they can bear me witness that these do not work.

By estimation, more than 90% of nightmares people experience are from the enemy, not from diet or stress. One of the strategies of the enemy is striving to make many believe he doesn't exist, so that he can operate under-cover to execute evil unhindered.

I personally had been a victim of persistent nightmares in the past. But today, I can no longer call them nightmares but challenges which I always overcome through the Grace and Power of our LORD Jesus Christ.

It is needful to note that as Christians, we are subject to attacks from the enemy so long we're still on this present Earth. Bad dreams are among the ways through which the attacks are launched against us. But we're victorious through Christ... halleluyah!

Nightmares are not good, especially when people are the ones who are overcome by them and not the other way round. Anything that affects us negatively spiritually also has negative impacts on our physical and biological composition.

That is why at times when people fall sick after series of persistent nightmares and go for tests in medical centres, they are told that nothing is wrong with them. But right within them, they know and feel that all is not right.

Many do resort to traditional healers, voodoo priests and warlocks for solution to their persistent nightmares, but that is like jumping from frying pan into the fire. We can't find solutions to our problems in the wrong places.

The menace of nightmares must be overcome; they must be stopped. That is the will of our LORD Jesus Christ for everyone on Earth. But we can not get the solution anywhere else apart from Him. He is the Deliverer; the only One who provides the best and permanent solution to spiritual problems.

    Nightmares Come In Divers Forms

Nightmares come in diverse forms, some of which include the following:

1). Sleep Paralysis: That is what science calls it, so let us borrow the term. The most common form of nightmares are sleep paralysis. People tend to get half-awake to feel a spiritual force or pressure pinning them to the bed and striving to strangle life out of them. A demon, witch or warlock is always responsible for sleep Paralysis.

By God's Grace I'll say more on this in a separate blog post. I suggest you subscribe to our mailing list if you’re interested so that you don't miss it. Don't forget to look in your inbox and click on the confirmation link after subscribing.

2). Eating In Dreams: This also is very common. Many people eat in their dreams every night. This is called dream poisoning. What they eat are not food but spiritual poison purposed to reduce their spiritual life to zero level and possibly harm them.

The major reason why people find it difficult to overcome this is due to having a weak spirit-man. And the enemy strives to weaken that spirit-man the more through dream poisoning so that they can never break out of it.

What works here is getting our spirit-man equipped enough to reject dream food and those dreams will diminish with time. That actually happens by much Infilling of the Holy Spirit, staying in the Word, Fasting And Prayers etc. These things build up our spirit-man.

3). Having Sexual Relations In Dreams: People will rarely admit this one. But most times, problems shared can be problems solved.

The enemy is ready to take attacks to any level in order to achieve his three-pronged assignment of coming to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10).

This form of attack is always against one's destiny and blessings, and therefore must be treated seriously!

    How To Overcome Nightmares

    ●  Get Saved: If you’re reading this article and you've not yet genuinely accepted Jesus Christ as your personal LORD and Saviour, know that it is the first and most vital step to your deliverance.

    Romans 10:8-10 KJV
But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; [9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. [10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

    ●  Submit To God: We must submit to God in order to overcome the enemy. Satan likes those who are God's disobedient children because he knows they are always an easier catch.

    James 4:7 KJV
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

    ●  Invite The LORD To Take Over Your Battle: This doesn't mean you shouldn't pray. But you're only letting the LORD know you can't do it by your own strength and He'll go before you and fight for you while you remain prayerful.

Constantly Feed Your Spirit: If our spirit-man is healthy, we'll always remain victorious over all devices of the enemy, including nightmares. Start making feeding your spirit man a priority today, not the flesh. When we're sleeping the flesh won't be of any help when the enemy strikes. It will probably be fast asleep.

For more on this, I recommend you get my eBook, "PRAYERS THAT CRUSH WITCHCRAFT OPPRESSION". It goes for $2.99 only, on SmashWords. You can also get it through bank deposit if you’re in Nigeria or South Africa. Make sure you get it if you feel you need it. You won't regret you did.

    Conclusion

Stay in Word of God, stay prayerful. Consecrate your entire being unto the LORD. Don't give the enemy a foothold in your life by being disobedient to God. Give the LORD the right of way to take over your battle while you keep doing what He wants you to do. Then watch every form of attack from the enemy become a walk-over. May your deliverance be permanent in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

Stay Pure, by His Grace. Remain Blessed.

An Excellent Spirit Was In Him

An Excellent Spirit Was In Him: A Review Of Daniel's Life:

      Daniel 6:3 KJV
Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.

      Daniel 5:14 KJV
I have even heard of thee, that the spirit of the gods is in thee, and that light and understanding and excellent wisdom is found in thee.

      Daniel Had An Excellent Spirit

Among high-profile Prophets whose life and ministry were penned down in the holy writ, Daniel was and still remains outstanding in terms of excellence, both in his ministry and otherwise.

When you go through the book of Daniel you will notice that there were neither many prophecies, lamentations nor mighty signs and wonders. The content is brief, rich and straight to the point. The nature of his ministry thrills me! But what made Daniel so spectacular? The answer is simple: a Spirit of Excellence was in him.

Daniel made jaw-dropping impacts which may not be seen as feasible by many Christians today. But I can assure you that today's Christians can lead the same life as Daniel if they're willing.

The Spirit which was in Daniel wasn't a strange spirit. He was the same Holy Spirit who is in true believers of the LORD today. He is the Spirit of Excellence. Within Him is the ability to do the impossible and attain heights which man's natural abilities can not grant him.

      Isaiah 11:2 KJV
And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.

Daniel was extremely productive! His countenance reflected the glory of God. The world saw and envied; the King saw and marvelled! He bore the fruits of righteousness to the fullest. And the major secret behind that was because he allowed the LORD to work on him!

The LORD expects us to likewise give Him the right of way to work on us so through the Holy Spirit in us so that we will stand out among the crowd, where ever we find ourselves.

      Philippians 1:10-11 KJV
That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ; [11] Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

Also notice the fact that throughout his lifetime, Daniel was never a step farther from God. He cultivated the habit of abiding in Him.

      John 15:4-5 KJV
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. [5] I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
If we allow God to work on us; if we learn to abide in Him, like Daniel we can also make impacts that are hard to fathom by the average Christian!

Virtues That Were Found In Daniel

The book of Daniel reveals in detail the virtues which Daniel possessed. I strongly believe that if we allow the Holy Spirit to cultivate these virtues in us, we too can attain excellence in whatever we do.

Self-Discipline: Daniel was noted for being self-disciplined among his friends and other inhabitants of Babylon. He never allowed the fact that he found himself in the King's court to make him go over-board to do things that would displease God.

      Daniel 1:8 KJV
But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.
If Daniel were to be alive today, many would see him as a "no-nonsense" person. And that's who he was.

Commitment And Devotion to God: Daniel was totally committed and devoted to the LORD. He had a prayer schedule which he followed up strictly.

      Daniel 6:10 KJV
Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.

Daniel's relationship with God was intimate. If we're serious with God, the outcome will always manifest in our lives for many to see.

Compromise Was Not In His Schedule: Daniel was one who was never ready to compromise his faith for anything. He knew His God was above everything and nothing was worth coming between him and God.

      Daniel 6:4-10 KJV
Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him. [5] Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God. [6] Then these presidents and princes assembled together to the king, and said thus unto him, King Darius, live for ever. [7] All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors, and the princes, the counsellors, and the captains, have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a firm decree, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any God or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions. [8] Now, O king, establish the decree, and sign the writing, that it be not changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not. [9] Wherefore king Darius signed the writing and the decree. [10] Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.
The intentions of other envious princes were to cause Daniel to compromise his faith. But little did they know that God was more important to him. He wasn't afraid of any threat that was targeted towards his faith.

Character: Daniel's character was worth the position he was elevated to. He walked blamelessly before the LORD and before the king. The only thing people could do was to bring accusations against him but that never worked.

      Daniel 6:4 KJV
Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.

Most times our character can get us where our gifts and abilities can't. Let's learn from Daniel.

He Was Principled: Daniel didn't live a life of "anything goes". The fact that something is legal doesn't mean it is ethical. Like Apostle Paul, Daniel understood that all things are lawful but not all things are helpful.

      1 Corinthians 6:12 KJV
All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
Integrity And Holiness: Daniel had the needed integrity that qualified him for the position he occupied. Besides, he lived a holy life. We know that David was a man after God's own heart. His story portrays God's mercy. But Daniel's life did beat that of David hands down in terms of integrity! Daniel could not afford getting himself into a situation like that of David. Of a truth he had the Spirit of excellence and choose to let that Spirit lead and run his life. There's a great lesson for us to learn from this!

Studious: The king was searching for people who were rich in knowledge, and Daniel was one of those people. Opportunity will always come but it only goes with those who are equipped for it.

      Daniel 1:3-4 KJV
And the king spake unto Ashpenaz the master of his eunuchs, that he should bring certain of the children of Israel, and of the king's seed, and of the princes; [4] Children in whom was no blemish, but well favoured, and skilful in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king's palace, and whom they might teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans.

The fact that Daniel was among the chosen ones tells us that he was knowledgeable in almost all the areas mentioned in the above Scripture, and that was because he didn't joke with his studies. Daniel 9:2 confirms this.

      Daniel 9:2 KJV
In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.

The saying that readers are leaders is true. Even God is against those who don't study.
      Hosea 4:6 KJV
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
      2 Timothy 2:15 KJV
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Humility: Above all, Daniel was humble. He didn't let his wisdom, knowledge and understanding get in his head to make him look down on other princes who were under him (despite the fact that they were envious of him).

Why We Should Lead A Daniel Kind of Life

God's Blessings: Daniel was engulfed in the blessings of the LORD. The envy of other princes, the tests and temptations from the king could not stop him from excelling everyday. He was like a tree planted beside the river whose leaves are ever green and never withers! We too can walk in these kind of blessings if we follow the footsteps of Daniel.

Favour And Elevation: He was highly favoured and set above other princes and wise men men in the Kingdom. That can only be God's favour!

      Daniel 6:3 KJV
Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.

Leading a life like that of Daniel attracts favour from the LORD.

Trust: Daniel's integrity alone earned him the trust of both God and the King. We must be trustworthy to get entrusted!

A Fulfilled Destiny: Above all he had a fulfilled destiny. Sampson didn't due to the kind of life he lived, despite how powerfully Anointed he was.

      The Bottom Line

The life of Daniel is worth our emulation as Christians. We can go on and on concerning him. He didn't live for himself but for the LORD. He left his life in the hands of God and totally leaned on Him alone. He was completely submitted to God.
He modelled what the Christian life should be like and God was pleased with him.

I personally hunger to walk in the Daniel kind of Anointing! What about you? It's not all about pulling out big gates and tearing the mouth of lions. It's about pleasing the LORD with our lives and in everything we do. Amen!

An Excellent Spirit Was In Him: A Review Of Daniel's Life

      Third Eye Pineal Gland Opening

The social media and technological advancements the world is presently witnessing today are all good. But truth be told, the enemy has also taken hold of these means to deceive many and sow more tares and lead souls to Hell.

If you're one of those who love combing through the internet to catch up with the latest trends like I do, you'd probably already have a clue concerning what I'm about to say here.

While the sons of God are using the the internet and their gadgets profitably for Kingdom business, the sons of the devil are likewise striving to do the opposite. It is therefore our responsibility to expose their strategies when we are led to; in order to keep the sons of the Kingdom well-informed so that they don't walk blindly into the enemy's den!

The strategy which the enemy is presently employing is to try his best to ensure that his deception sounds and looks Biblical and lines up with the Word as much as possible. It is needful that Christians stay glued to the LORD and His Word in this season (as much they can) to avoid being caught up in deception and the great falling away that is already upon the Earth.

One of the tares the enemy is currently striving to sow into the Church is that of strange doctrines; doctrines of demons (as the Bible rightly puts it).

        1 Timothy 4:1 KJV
        Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

Now is that latter time and this prophecy is already in its fulfilment.

As I'm speaking to you, the world is witnessing a spiritual awakening in a proportion that it has never been witnessed before. The book of Daniel said that knowledge will increase in these days and times and that is exactly what is happening now!

        Daniel 12:4 KJV
But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Many are already running to and fro making discoveries and seeking spiritual experiences. Science has gone really spiritual especially with its attempt to pierce the veil that separates the spiritual and physical dimensions. It is a sure sign that the LORD is coming, sooner than we may think!.

The Third Eye: How I Got To Know About It

There is presently a mad-rush for spiritual experiences and I happened to find out that one of the most searched terms on Google these days is "how to open your third eye".

The day I first saw this, it actually caught my attention. I was compelled to find out more concerning what the third eye is about and how it lines up with Scriptures. During my research I found out that this teaching was extracted from Ancient Hindu texts (which is actually a different religion entirely). That gave me the answer I needed.

Initially I thought this doctrine was only propagated by the world until I happened to stumble on few videos of professed men of God (names withheld) on Youtube! These men with thousands of Youtube followers were teaching on how to open the 3rd eye and supporting their claims with Scriptures. I was really shocked!

Christians must be careful when it comes to who and what they listen to in these Last Days. Mature Christians are more safe; the ones who are new in the faith really need our prayers.

There are so many voices wearing religious cloaks and speaking today. The fact that they look religious doesn't mean they're all of God.

The Third Eye Vs Seers Gift

I'm not here to explain what the third eye is all about, I don't even care whether it exists on not. But you might had once come across such teaching or will likely stumble on it in future. I am here to tell you what's necessary. Where such teachings emanate from are occult in nature.

I happened to find out there are people teaching how to open the third eye as a form of activating the Seers gift. The devil is the author of confusion! Never confuse seeing with the third eye with the seers gift and don't desire such experience. It is esoteric and magic in disguise!

A Seer sees through the eyes of the Holy Spirit in them while people who see through their third eye do that through the demon which possessed them right during their attempt to open the so-called third eye.

No doubt that many who are preaching from pulpits and seeing people's phone numbers and undies right from the same pulpit are seeing with the third eye!

Unless you want to become a witch, warlock, a clairvoyance or psychic and lose your soul, don't feed on these "how to open your third eye" teachings that are currently flying around.

Unless you want to start seeing demons, communicate with the dead and have the devil pay you visits and send you on errands, don't feed on "how to open your third eye" teachings and don't try to put it into practice.

The LORD made it clear in His Word that He is against all occult practices and opening the third eye is one of them. It's risky to seek experiences which are not of God!

        Deuteronomy 18:9-12 KJV
When thou art come into the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. [10] There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, [11] Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. [12] For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord : and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee.

Purity goes far beyond what we do with our body. It touches also on what we do with our soul or spirit man. The spirit-man can be corrupted and damned for life if one dabbles into the occult. In the information era we are, we must be careful with allow into our spirit-man if making Heaven is our goal.

        1 Corinthians 6:20 KJV
For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

I believe a brief word as this is enough for the wise. Those who have ears should hear.

Stay Pure, by His Grace. Remain Blessed!

        Is Third Eye Opening Biblical

        The Great Commission

I woke up with a tugging in my spirit this morning. The LORD had reminded me once again (during the night) concerning the urgent need to go fishing for lost souls.

All current events unfolding before our eyes all point to the nearness of the end of this age. But what does the LORD expect of us in such a season as this? Is it for us to just watch and pray, while looking forward to the rapture of the Church and His second coming? That's definitely part of it, but not all.

I'm saddened whenever I see the unsaved talking about end times alongside Christians. It's likely they do not grasp the severity of the coming judgment. They all make fun out of it and go about their own business. It's unfortunate that they don't understand, just like Noah's generation.

          Luke 17:26-29 KJV
And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. [27] They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. [28] Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; [29] But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

The enemy of their souls has blinded their eyes. But that is one of the reasons why the Church is still here; to open the eyes of the spiritually blind, innocent and unsaved ones and show them the way to the LORD.

As Christians, we are here to warn the world of the danger of being left behind, judgment and eternal separation from God. We are here to reconcile many back to The Father through Christ before the Creator folds up this age.

          Meaning of The Great Commission

          Matthew 28:18-20 KJV
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. [19] Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: [20] Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

The Great Commission is like a two-sided coin; the first is Evangelism while the second is Discipleship. After salvation comes Discipleship. We can't have the second without the first.

Late 2017 the Lord spoke to me specifically concerning the Great Commission. He said that Evangelism is of more importance than every other form of ministry. Souls have to get saved first before we can even think of inviting them to church and getting them in the Sunday school. By-passing salvation to do the others is toxic; it only ends up producing religious people who know some facts about God but neither truly know nor have a connection with Him.

I've personally come across people who have been out of the Bible School and can preach almost perfect messages, but once they drop their Bibles they put on their real self and go about living like every unsaved person out there.

The point is that Discipleship is ineffective on lost souls. And for that reason, evangelism must be given top priority.

Who Should Be Involved in The Great Commission?

The Great Commission is a general Calling and Assignment on every genuinely saved soul. It is not only for those who are labelled "Evangelist" by people and their local church. Every true Christian is an Evangelist and must get involved in fulfilling the Great Commission.
          Acts 1:8 KJV
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

          2 Timothy 4:5 KJV
But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

Our local churches should get fully involved in going out to win souls for Christ. This is not a thing of going out to lure more sinners to church, because in the first place, that doesn't work. Bringing many sinners who dress nice and come to service to pay tithes and give collections while they remain that way is an indication that we haven't added to the Kingdom. Instead, we've added to our denomination.

          The Great Commission Concerns You

          ●  The LORD Himself has sent us forth. What's left is for us to obey. Since we are sent we have to do it. That should flow out of our love for the LORD, a mind and heart like His and our desire to see souls saved.

          John 20:21 KJV
Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

          ●  The Reward Is Great. While we're still here we can't number the rewards nor grasp with our finite minds how great they will be, but we sure know that they'll be greater than anything we ever had on Earth.

          Daniel 12:3 KJV
And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

          Start Getting Involved Today

I believe the first step is to start from our relationship with the LORD. The Great Commission is not for those who still have personal issues to sort out with God. If we have an healthy and genuine relationship with Him, that is an head-start. We also need to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Then He'll use us to win souls and to touch and change lives.

A Christian doesn't have to wait until they know the Bible from Genesis to Revelation before they can start winning souls. Starting with the Scriptures we know and studying more to build oneself up daily is the way forward. Preaching is different from teaching. It's easier to preach and that's what sinners need. A preaching centered on Christ will save many souls.

          Final Words

I believe every Christian wants to hear a "well done, good and faithful servant" from the LORD on the last day. He has sent us forth and time is short. We can't keep waiting and giving excuses. By the power of the Holy Spirit, Let's go on the Great Commission!

          Now your turn:

The Great Commission: Why You Should Get Involved

          Wilderness Experience

At least 8 out of every 10 Christians have heard, read or listened to messages pertaining to this very topic.
Some have had first-hand experience concerning what it's like to be in the wilderness as a Christian. Today I want to approach it from a different perspective; just from my little experience in the wilderness.

            Meaning of Wilderness Experience

Have I been in the wilderness? The answer is definitely Yes. I believe every genuinely saved Christian would have their own story to tell concerning their experience in the wilderness. Any Christian who hasn't been there should question the genuineness of their salvation.

When I say 'wilderness' am not referring to a physical dry and arid land but a spiritual place of preparation. We're  familiar with the story of John the Baptist living in the wilderness and feeding on locust and honey. But he didn't spend his lifetime in there. The wilderness was his place of preparation. When the LORD was done equipping him He launched him forth into Israel to fulfil his ministry.

            Luke 1:80 KJV
And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his shewing unto Israel.

We're also familiar with the story concerning Jesus being sent into the wilderness by the Holy Spirit immediately after John the Baptist got Him baptised in River Jordan. There He fasted for forty days and nights after which He was tempted by the devil.

            Matthew 4:1-2 KJV
Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. [2] And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.

Today, we are not sent to a physical wilderness like John the Baptist and our LORD Jesus Christ were, but a spiritual one. But there we are also taken through almost the same process like they were.

            Why The Wilderness?

By now you should start asking "why was it always the wilderness first before their ministry?" The shortest answer is simply because it's indispensable to our impact and success in ministry. If Jesus Christ who is fully God and man needed it, how much more we who are mere mortals?

God calls us to an intimate relationship with Him first before launching us into ministry. There is a lot to learn in the wilderness (including knowing His voice).

When God calls us, we can admit that we are always nothing close to being ready to carryout the assignment He entrusts to us. At times it's scary. We can't even imagine ourselves preaching and doing all that He says we will be doing in our ministry.

When we are called we are often unqualified for the assignment. The wilderness is where God equips and qualifies His Saints for the ministry He entrusts to them.

            What Happens In The Wilderness

A lot. The wilderness is a place of uncountable tests, trials and temptations. Remember this line... "then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil"..
The Father allowed such for His Son and the Son did not object because they both knew it was necessary.

In the wilderness God puts us through a pruning process. This process is necessary to cut off every part of our life which is not Christ-like so that we can bear more fruits and have scandal-free lives and ministries in future.

            John 15:1-2 KJV
I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. [2] Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

In the wilderness God works on us through His Holy Spirit in us to strip off everything that is not of Him in us (including Self and Flesh).

In the wilderness our pride and independence is broken. It's in this place that we learn to depend only on God. He may take away every other thing we relied on for sustenance(if necessary), leaving just us and Him.

For some of us who are rebellious like I was, in the wilderness we learn obedience. Even the Son learnt obedience through what He suffered:
            Hebrews 5:8 KJV
            Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;

Learning obedience will enable us to always say, "not my will but Yours" even in very difficult situations.

Our faith will get tested and built in the wilderness. I can remember God letting me go through things that were hard to believe I'll scale through. Then He lends a helping hand when my faith was almost gone. What that always did was strengthening my faith in a double portion.

In the wilderness there are diverse attacks from the enemy, it can be so annoying! God allows this so that we get our spiritual muscles strengthened, learn to depend on Him and learn to give Him all the glory when He gives us victory.

It is where God works on our Character: That dross of ungodly Character gets scraped off in the wilderness so that we have the Character of Christ.

            How Long In The Wilderness?

It may be you are currently experiencing some of the things I've said here so far. It may be you are in your wilderness. So the question you feel like asking now is how long will this last?

The Flesh and Self don't just hear God's voice at once stay clear, they struggle to stay in the way. That brings us unnecessary suffering and possibly elongates the length of time we spend in the wilderness.

If we choose not to let go of Self, Flesh, Sin or whatever God wants us to get rid of while in the wilderness, we will spend more time in there! We don't want that I believe.

The most important things the LORD expects of us in the wilderness are OBEDIENCE and COOPERATION. When we obey and cooperate with Him, we give the Holy Spirit the right of way to work on us without our resistance. That in turn limits the time we spend in the wilderness.

Another factor which determines the length of time we spend in the wilderness is the nature of our calling and ministry. A greater Assignment may possibly mean more time in the wilderness. Our crosses come in different sizes. Don't rush the process! Just let God have His way.

If this message is for you, know that whatever you're currently going through is just part of the process. Hold on to the LORD because He took you in there, He'll also send you out. We don't determine when we are ready, He does. And when we're ready He'll communicate to us in a way that we know we are, without a shadow of doubt.

            1 Peter 5:10 KJV
But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

            Amen.

Experiencing Your Wilderness and Coming Out Victorious

            How To Overcome Sleep Paralysis

Pressed down on the bed by an invisible and scary spiritual force while asleep, that's one of the things many dread going to bed for. Even while sleeping during the day, at times it happens.

              Why Sleep Paralysis?

For some, the experience has become like a routine, so they rather stay up watching TV and wishing sleep doesn't come, only for them to fall asleep and bam... it strikes again! They're up again just within minutes and can't go back to sleep till daybreak.

This shouldn't sound new to most of you, it's common even among Christians. By estimation, more than 70% of humans on Earth do experience it. Science calls it sleep paralysis. But it's almost always totally futile trying to figure out spiritual realities by scientific observations, experiments and deductions. Scientists do not have a genuine and lasting solution to it either; Only JESUS CHRIST does.

Sadly that's the case for some; they dread their home and sleep at a friend's or neighbour's place at night.

              What Causes Sleep Paralysis

The answer is simple: demons, witches and warlocks. The devil takes pleasure in doing evil, whether it benefits him or not.

But woe to them! The LORD says. There shall be no peace for the wicked, especially those who find pleasure in denying themselves sleep in order to make life hell on Earth for an innocent soul.

Micah 2:1 KJV Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds! when the morning is light, they practise it, because it is in the power of their hand.

Sleep Paralysis is a direct attack from the enemy. Though I can't conclude on why it's carried out, it's safe to say that's it's meant to steal the peace of innocent people and make their life miserable.

The enemy came to steal, to kill and to destroy (John 10:10), but it is the will of our LORD Jesus Christ that we overcome every device of the enemy and keep him where he belongs: under our feet.

              How To Overcome Sleep Paralysis

The world itself is a spiritual battle-field, even unbelievers are involved, whether they know it or not. It's not until one becomes a Christian before they can undergo spiritual attacks. There are unbelievers whose dream life are so terrible. If you experience sleep paralysis, applying below guidelines will be of great help.

1). GET SAVED: The first step towards overcoming sleep paralysis is to genuinely get saved. The foundation of your victory is your salvation.

Romans 10:8-10 KJV But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; [9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. [10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

So give your life to Christ. Once you are His, all attacks from the enemy will become a walk-over.

2). MAKE SURE YOU'RE LIVING A HOLY LIFE: The opposite only opens the door for more attacks from the enemy and he won't leave because one gives him the right to be there by living in sin.

When we're totally consecrated and obedient to God, the enemy attacks will be counted as trespass and always punishable. So in that state, he can not touch such people when he wants. Even when he attempts to, he will always flee when they give the command by the Authority of Christ!

James 4:7 KJV Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

3). GET HOME CLEANSING DONE: Some homes and certain geographical locations are residents for demons due to one reason or the other. If you experience increased demonic attack, get your home cleansed through a genuine servant of God, if you can't do it yourself.

Some people do move into apartments which they have no idea who lived there before them or what happened. They end up having terrible nightmares. That makes getting the apartment cleansed a necessity. A territory occupied by a true child of God shouldn't be a living place for evil entities. Light dispels darkness.

4). GET PRAYERFUL: Be it witches, demons or whatever they call themselves, they all hate prayer. Attacks may intensify but they'll definitely back off because no evil can stand God's Power released through prayer.

Anyone who doesn't pray is an easy prey for the enemy and his cohorts.

5). GET OTHER BRETHREN TO PRAY FOR YOU: Asking for prayers from other brethren is always helpful. Don't underestimate the power of two or more Christians praying for you. It can do wonders.

6). THE MOVIES YOU WATCH: So your children saw the latest horror movie CD at the mall and insisted that you should get it and you did. These kind of movies attract evil spirits to a home.

So if you enjoy watching these trending zombies and vampire movies with your children, you're making your home a haunted hotspot.

Neither you nor children deserve having terrible nightmares due to movies, so watch the right things on TV. Get rid of ungodly movies from your home.

7). PRAY AND ANOINT YOUR APARTMENT BEFORE YOU GO TO BED: You may not see what's hanging at the window or tree close to the house and waiting for the family to go to bed. So it's safe to always ensure that your apartment is spiritually safe before going to bed.

Something may had attracted some evil energy during the day. Pray, take authority over the apartment and the surroundings, anoint your apartment before you go to bed. Ask the Holy Spirit to take over. That will always put off these entities and let you have a sound sleep.

8). GET RID OF FEAR: Whatever one fears is what happens. And wishes also do have power. Before I go to bed I always have it at the back of my mind that whatever comes for me I'm gonna teach it a lesson. And that's what always happens. We've been given the power. These things are under our feet and they should be afraid of us, not the other way round.

Luke 10:19 KJV Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

What you have at the back of your mind immediately before dozing off has 90% possibility of coming to pass when you sleep. So let it not be fear of the unknown.

9). STUDY, MEDITATE ON AND SPEAK THE WORD: The Word of God is powerful. Psalms of David pertaining to God's protection are still powerful. Read them out loud before going to bed. You'll sure have God's edge of protection.

10). DON'T FORGET TO ALWAYS APPLY THE BLOOD OF JESUS: The Blood of Jesus Christ is still active and powerful. No force of Hell can stand it. Apply it lavishly.

11). YOU CAN BREAK OUT OF IT BY THINKING OR CALLING THE NAME OF JESUS: This works for many, including unbelievers, but for some it doesn't because they neither have faith nor saved. But if you’re not yet saved and it works for you, that is not all. Get saved so that you will make heaven.

Mentioning or even thinking the name of Jesus has been known to always break the grip of sleep paralysis when it happens. They will always leave immediately if you have the authority to use that name.

              Final Words

Jesus Christ is the only One who can deliver man from all attacks of the enemy. We must learn to make Him our focus, and invite Him into our battle. On our own we can do it but with Him all things are possible.

We're victorious through Christ. We're seated with Him in Heavenly places. Know and always use your Authority in Him. Don't bring yourself down to the devil's level by disobeying God.

Go on and enjoy your eternal victory through Christ! Amen!

              Sanctification

Kingdom Greetings again. Thank you for being one of the readers of this blog. I'm grateful to the LORD and at the same time excited for this privilege He has given me to share the Word with you once again.

Sexual purity is a very sensitive topic in Christendom as it often rouses different reactions and opinions from different Christians. At iBlogGospel we stick to what the Word of God says and present it exactly the way it is, by His Grace.

We've witnessed a decay in our present society in such a manner that whenever topics concerning staying sexually pure are raised, eyebrows also get raised; people respond to it with shock and anger. How did we get there? Especially in the Western world, sexual purity has become the wrong way of life.

The fact that a particular thing is widely accepted and practised doesn't validate it is the right thing to do. It is the Word of God that should have the final say on how we should live as Believers.

The topic is based on 1 Thessalonians 4.

              1 Thessalonians 4:3-5 KJV
For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: [4] That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour; [5] Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God.
              1 Thessalonians 4:3-5 ESV
3 For this is the will of God, your sanctification:[a]that you abstain from sexual immorality; 4 that each one of you know how to control his own body[b] in holiness and honor, 5 not in the passion of lust like the Gentiles who do not know God.

              Meaning of Sanctification

Sanctification simply means "Set Apart". True Christians are automatically set apart and dedicated to God Almighty the moment they accept Jesus Christ as their LORD and Saviour. But we have the responsibility of living out on daily basis the terms and conditions of that sanctification because without doing so, our sanctification is incomplete.

              Why God Sanctifies Us

I can point out two major reasons why we are set apart as follows:

              1. Since we've decided to stop serving the devil by getting saved and because God Almighty is now our Master, we are not expected to continue leading the manner of life that pleases the enemy. No man serves two masters (Matthew 6:24). Romans 12 tells us that we are set apart to honour and worship God with our bodies:

              Romans 6:17-22 KJV
But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. [18] Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. [19] I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness. [20] For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness. [21] What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. [22] But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

              Romans 12:1 KJV
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

              2. We've been given an assignment. There is calling upon our lives which gets activated the moment we get saved. We should see the assignment as more important than our very lives. We are grafted into God's Army and according to the Word, soldiers must please the One who enlisted them.

              2 Timothy 2:4 KJV
No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

              We Must Stay Sanctified

Since we are "sanctified," for that very reason we must avoid sexual immorality at all cost. We can not continue using the popular "no man is perfect" phrase as an excuse to continue feeding our Flesh. 1 Thessalonians 4:7 makes it clear that God has not called us to uncleanness but holiness.

Be it fornication, adultery, lust, name it... we must understand that the end time is too corrosive for a Christian to continue wallowing in sexual immorality.

Are we filled with the Holy Spirit? The answer from majority will definitely be a "Yes!" 1 Thessalonians 4:3–5 tells us the necessity of controlling our bodies. Giving into immorality is a sure sign that we are not Spirit-filled, and as a result we do not possess self-control which is one of the fruits of the Spirit.

              More Vital Points To Note:

The LORD is Still Coming for a Church without spot or blemish. He hasn't lowered the standard.

              Ephesians 5:27 KJV
That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
              2 Timothy 2:19 KJV
Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

It is not the will of the LORD that He meets us unprepared.

A Sexually Immoral End Time Christian Stands A Chance of Missing Heaven.

              Matthew 24:20-21,43-44 KJV
But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: [21] For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. [43] But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. [44] Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

A Sexually Immoral End Time Christian Lacks The Sharp-Cutting Edge Necessary For The End Time Harvest:

Apostle Paul sternly admonished Timothy against sexual immorality because he understood the extent to which it could go in harming him and his ministry; it would blunt his sharp-cutting edge and make him less effective.

              2 Timothy 2:22 KJV
Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
              1 Timothy 6:11 KJV
But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

This admonishment also goes for every Christian who is alive today; who wants to record success and substantial impact in his or her ministry.

A Sexually Immoral Christian Is Not Equipped To Withstand The Ever-Increasing Attacks from The Enemy on The End Time Church

One of the major reasons why the enemy doesn't want Christians to comes out of the shackles of sexual immorality in the first place is so that he'll keep attempting to crash the Church.

Even at present, we've heard and witnessed diverse sexual scandals hitting ministers of the Gospel here and there. We can see how much the enemy is using sexual immorality as a weapon against the Church.

Sexual immorality is poison to the spirit-man. Sexual Purity is one of the pillars of every Christian who is still standing. Christians need to stay sexually pure in order to be able to withstand the attacks from the enemy, while also advancing the Kingdom of God and successfully bring their ministry to completion.

              ● This list is however not exhaustive. There are innumerable reasons why an end time Christian must stay sexually pure. Daniel said that during these very days we are living in, those who know their God will be strong and do exploits (Daniel 11:32).

Christians who are still entangled in the web of sexual immorality are not among this category of people. They are not "Spiritually" strong and can not do mighty exploits.

Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 9:27
"But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified."

Let us think on that Scripture.

              Final Words

If we are born of God, we have His Spirit. His Name is "Holy Spirit," we are Anointed to live holy and He's there to ensure we do just that. The Holy Spirit keep any Christian who is willing to be kept sexually pure. We must stay filled with Him because the ability to live holy comes from Him! (See Zechariah 4:6).

Uncontrolled “passionate lust” is a work of the flesh (See Galatians 5:19), not of the Spirit. Controlling our lusts and living sexually pure lives is essential to anyone who professes to know Christ. In doing so, we honor God with our bodies (1 Corinthians 6:18–20).

Living a sexually pure life will guarantee us a cutting-edge Christian life. There is no shortcut to walking in deeper levels of Anointing, staying victorious over all devices of the enemy and making jaw-dropping impacts. We must harness God's Grace to stay out of sexual immorality.

My Prayer for you is that God's Word has a transforming impact on your life, in Jesus Christ Mighty Name... Amen!

Sanctification And The End Time Christian

              How To Grow In Grace

The second book of Peter ended with the Apostle firmly admonishing the Church to grow in Grace and in the knowledge of our LORD Jesus Christ.

                2 Peter 3:18 KJV
But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

This admonishment didn't just apply to the Early Church alone but also to the end time Church. What does growing in Grace entail and why is it so important in a Christian's life? Let's trust the LORD to reveal to us in this article. Read on!

                Meaning of Growth

Growth according to Biology, refers to a permanent increase in the size and complexity of a living organism. Biology deals with living things, so does God. As long as a living organism is alive, it is expected to grow. If a living organism is not growing, there is a cause; either it's affected by nutrient deficiency or a disease. But in the presence of all favourable conditions, no living organism is permitted to refuse growing and bearing expected fruits. Same applies to believers.

                Evidence of true Spiritual Growth

The major evidence of true spiritual growth is productivity (not perfection according to worldly speculations). Maturity in Christ is not perfection. You'll agree with me that we're not yet totally like Christ, and that makes spiritual growth a continuous process.

Apostle Paul understood this. We could see that at the level he was, he was still hungry for more of the LORD. God is vast and inexhaustible, even mature Christians must continue growing in Grace.

Every Christian who is consistently growing in Grace is productive in the Kingdom. They have many fruits of the Holy Spirit manifest in their very lives; their gifts continually get fine-tuned to their best on daily basis for the LORD's use.

Meaning of Grace and Growing in Grace

Jesus Christ is Grace personified. He is the same person who works in His sons and daughters through the Holy Spirit to transform them into His image. Grace transforms, equips and enables us for service in the Kingdom. To grow in Grace is to grow in Christ. And the end product of spiritual growth is conforming to the very image of Christ.

                2 Corinthians 3:18 KJV
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Those who see Grace as a license to sin have gotten it twisted. Let's assume they don't know what Grace is, because true Grace enables us to live above the low life of sin.

Why We Must Grow In Grace

God expects everything He made to grow and keep growing until they complete their life span. He expects us to grow spiritually, it is very important to Him!

1). The Rapture and the Second coming of the LORD hasn't yet taken place, with many reasons behind it. One of them being that the Body of Christ (which is the Church) hasn't yet grown unto maturity in Christ, the Head.

                Ephesians 4:15 KJV
But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.

The Church is the major factor which is delaying the closure of this present age. She isn't yet ready. Many Christians are still 'playing church' and living a double life. The LORD will return when the Church is ready according to His own specifications. But let's pray He meets us ready.

                2. We must grow so that we don't get cut off from Him: God elevates His Word above His Name and His Word is true. He made it clear to us in John 15 that every branch of Him that refuses to grow and bear fruits risks getting cut off from Him. We don't want that to happen to us.

                John 15:1-2 KJV
I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. [2] Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

A quick reminder for us is what Jesus did to the unproductive fig tree in Matthew 21:19. Let's not think He can't likewise do that to unproductive Christians.

                Matthew 21:19 KJV
And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.

The evidence of true spiritual growth will always be productivity and fruitfulness. We can't tell God we're growing when we have nothing to show for it.

                3. Growing in Grace brings us to a place of deeper knowledge of God and walk with Him: Knowing God beyond who we think He is should be the desire of every true Christian. Growing in Grace will increase our level of intimacy with Him; it will give us access to the secrets of God and personal knowledge of Him beyond what we've heard and read! That is the same thing Paul desired; and the very same thing Peter told us to seek after:

                Philippians 3:10 KJV
That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death.

                2 Peter 3:18 KJV
But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

                4. We must grow in Grace so that we become fully useful to the LORD: The LORD never made us Christians so that we'll remain that way, doing nothing and expecting Him to come take us to Heaven.

Every genuine Christian has a ministry. There is a general calling on us to make Disciples of all Nations. It is the LORD's desire to see us allow Him work on us and transform us from ordinary believers to Disciples who are able to do same to others.

                Final Words

Growing in Grace is not an option, it's a command. We have no excuse not to grow and become more productive everyday. The LORD has placed the resources that will enable us do just that within our reach. A good place to start from is to get saved and get the Word of God in us:

                1 Peter 2:2 KJV
As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby.

The LORD wants to transform us into His own image and better our lives. He wants to use us in jaw-dropping ways, but the ball is in our court. We must intentionally allow Him to work on and grow us so that we will walk in the fullness of all that He has for us.

                How To Grow In Grace

                How To Hear God's Voice

True Christianity isn't a religion but a relationship with God Almighty, our Father through Jesus Christ our LORD. Just like every functional relationship, our relationship with God is kept lively through a constant 'two-way' communication (we talk to God through prayer and even through unspoken thoughts and He responds to us).

Religion is boring and full of dead works. People go to church, sing, dance, get back home and keep on repeating same for years; but yet still feel disconnected from God. Of course, there is no closeness in any relationship without communication!

God Wants Us To Hear Him

We are in a love relationship with God Almighty, our Father. And He desires to have a say over everything that concerns or bothers us. What matters to us matters to Him! He desires to share His thoughts with us concerning every vital decision or move we intend to make. He longs to hold conversations with us, yes, even long conversations!

God cares about every detail in our life and whatever goes wrong or right with us. He desires to become part and parcel of our daily life activities through constant communication.

No loving father would want to go for weeks without speaking to his children. God doesn't want us to go astray or be led astray; He doesn't want us to make costly mistakes; and He sure doesn't desire to see us walk the Earth blindly like sheep without a shepherd into the traps of the enemy. The LORD desires to speak to us as many times as possible each day of our lives on Earth! Interesting, isn't it?

The Bible says that the eyes of the LORD are [continually] upon the righteous and His ears are open to their prayers(Psalm 34:15).

You see, it's not that God isn't seeing everything we do and hearing all we say. And He doesn't just watch and listen throug the day and night just for watching and listening sake. He is also speaking! But are we also listening and hearing?

                  Isaiah 30:21 KJV
And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

But one may wonder why some Christians still lack direction for their lives. Why do Believers still get confused concerning what they should do next, where to go next or what to do in a given situation? The answer is simple: God is speaking but only few are hearing.

These Things Hinder Us From Hearing God's Voice

                  1). Excessive Worrying

We all get worried over certain things, problems or unfavourable situations around us. But staying worried is a choice. Our worries should lead us to the place of prayer. That's what the LORD expects.

                  Philippians 4:6 KJV
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

                  1 Peter 5:7 KJV
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

It is in the place of prayer that we will hear God's mind concerning the particular thing that got us worried. Right there we'll also receive the comforting touch of the Holy Spirit. But if we keep on feeding our worries, we cloud our ability to hear what God has to say concerning that situation.

                  2). Loss of Inner Peace

Excessive worrying is one of the factors responsible for loss of peace. We must get rid of everything which steals our peace and does that constantly, if possible. When we lose inner peace, to a great extent we also lose our sensitivity to God's voice.

                  3). A Restless Mind.

Excessive worrying and loss of inner peace will cause the mind to go on a rollercoaster of unprofitable thoughts. A restless mind will cause us to lose our sensitivity to God's voice. It's advisable to get in God's Presence, just worship and let the Holy Spirit calm those screaming thoughts and fill us with His holy peace.

It is also our responsibility to arrest ungodly thoughts and calm our minds so that we can hear God with clarity, even while walking on the street.

                  Philippians 4:6-7 KJV
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. [7] And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

3). Lack of Personal Daily Devotion

Many Christian families do get together every morning to have morning devotions for some minutes or an hour, read few Bible verses and that's all for the day. In most families, it has become a religious routine. After that, individual family members go about their businesses for the day feeling satisfied that they've had their devotion for the day.

What did God say personally to them during the short morning devotion? That's a question many can't answer. We all need to cultivate the habit of getting in our closet alone and spend quality time with the LORD. Yes, God loves seeing two or three gather in His Name, but most importantly, He desires to have us come up to the throne of Grace in person, and on daily basis.

Daily communion with God is not just important but indispensable in our walk with the LORD. If we spend quality time studying God's Word, praying and worshipping everyday, hearing God everyday would be very easy. Most times God will speak by causing a Scripture we once stumbled on to unexpectedly pop up in our mind. That's one of the reasons why we should study and know His Word.

                  4). Lack of Purity

When it comes to hearing God, the need to present our bodies, minds, hearts and our entire being as a living sacrifice unto Him can not be overemphasized. God loves sinners, no doubt about that. But we can not go about desecrating the temple of the Holy Spirit and expect to continue hearing God with clarity.

God is always close and speaking but sin interferes with man's spiritual sensitivity, especially to God's voice.

                  2 Corinthians 6:16 KJV
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them ; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

                  5). Disobeying God's Voice

                  Psalm 32:8-9 KJV
I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. [9] Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.

When God instructs and we disobey, we do not expect Him to keep speaking. That's like speaking to a wall which has no ears. If we desire to hear God on daily basis we must learn to obey Him even in bits of everything we sense His instruction or leading.

Honestly, it gets to a point we walk on the streets and God tells us, "Don't go into that street!" and we retrace our steps only to later discover that something bad happened along that street. It goes far more detailed than that, only if we're willing to start obeying Him on the little we may think He's instructing us today. That makes us stay open to receiving and hearing more with greater clarity.

                  Final Words

I write because God speaks to me. Looking back at the articles I've posted on this blog so far, I can only see how much I need to hear Him more and more, because I would have nothing impactful to write on if He didn't speak.

If I couldn't hear God for myself everyday, by now my life would had been a mess. I know how much that has helped me.

Now we know that God desires to speak to us everyday. God seems unreal to some Christians because they're having a hard time hearing Him. But the ball is in their court, not His. He said those who are His do hear Him:

                  John 10:27 KJV
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

It's a relationship that we have with Him, not an intangible and vague connection. Our responsibility is to get in the position to hear Him through everything He uses to speak to us daily!

I'm trusting that the LORD will use this article to help someone hear Him more and on daily basis, in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen!

How To Hear God's Voice Everyday

                  Harnessing God's Power

                  A true Christian is extra-ordinary.

The sacrifice of our LORD Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary paved way for us to walk as Sons of God in the Earth realm, and nothing less! We are sons of God because we have God Almighty indwelling us, which is the Holy Spirit. To have God living in us is to have access to unlimited possibilities. Understanding who we are in Christ is the key that unlocks the door to walking in the reality of these very unlimited possibilities!

There is a striking difference between Christians and non-Christians: Unbelievers depend on their natural abilities to scale through the paths of life, but the LORD enables His Sons to go way beyond their natural abilities (according to the power that worketh in us)! Halle-lu-jah!

God never asked us to strive to live holy and strive to please Him by our human abilities. That would be us striving to keep the Law (which never works). He never said that we will achieve success and excellence in whatever we do without Him. The Holy Spirit in us is God's enabling Grace; He enables us to transcend our inherent human capabilities!

                  Isaiah 11:2-3 KJV
And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord ; [3] And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord : and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears.

Ever achieved success without much stress? Are you witnessing jaw-dropping excellence in everything you do? Are people surprised to see you do so much within a short period of time? You'll agree with me that taking credits for such would be wrong. That is definitely God at work through you!

God working through us via the Holy Spirit makes us no match for comparison. He is the same Spirit who worked through Daniel. None could compare to Daniel among his colleagues. He was so different; so out of this world! His works were far past exquisite; they were not what an ordinary human being could accomplish. That was only possible through the operation of a spirit within; an Excellent Spirit!

Positioning Oneself To Harness God's Exceedingly Abundant Ability

The LORD indeed desires to use us in dimensions and to extent the human mind can not grasp, but we must position ourselves to be used of Him in that manner:

1). Possess The Mind of Christ and the Eyes of Faith

Our LORD never sees impossibilities. He sees possibilities all the time. He calls things which are not as though they were and they come into existence (Romans 4:17).

We must learn to visualize possibilities and expect their manifestation even before they manifest, because that's what always works!

For we walk by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7).

                  Jeremiah 32:27 KJV
Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

                  Jeremiah 32:17 KJV
Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee.

2). Shut Out the Voices of those Belittlers

Those who love belittling others and laughing at the slightest mistakes others make, you know them. Be quick to identify and shut out their voices from your life. It doesn't matter how many times you've tried and failed or how many times you didn't get things done perfectly, God says "you can!" and that alone you should allow to occupy your mind.

                  Philippians 4:13 KJV
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

That Scripture wasn't written for fancy. The Word of God is God Himself. If He says we can, then that's it: we actually CAN! Shut out any other voice which says the opposite.

3). Have The Right Belief System

Some Christians had been taught wrongly. An instance is the teaching which stresses that women are not called to the Five-fold or shouldn't be in ministry. These are some of the things that hinder us from getting fully used of the LORD.

Some of us need to unlearn many things we learnt in the past from different religious organizations and sit down to feed on the truth of God's Word, so that we'll get a real picture of who God says we are. That is very vital to getting us set to be fully used of Him.

4). Let No Man Talk You Out of It

Yea, even in the Church, there are those who strive to talk us out of what God wants us to do because they understand we've been enabled to succeed in whatever we do. You can't afford to allow what man says or will say to prevent you from doing what God wants to do through you!

                  Final Words

The Holy Spirit is God and He lives in us. He is God's "Grace" in us. So long we can't fit God into a box and limit what He can do, we also can't limit what God can do through us.

                  Philippians 2:13 KJV
For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

One of prayer points had always been that the LORD uses me far beyond my imagination. You might also been praying similar one, but we must understand that when we ask Him to use us, we also have to be flexible to change, because He'll first of all bend, break and reshape us before we become as use-able as He desires.

We must also stay obedient and learn to ascribe all glory to Him for the things He's doing through us and for the ones He will do, as that opens the door for Him to use us more. Amen!

The LORD has been preparing and is now sending forth His End Time Army to do mighty exploits in all corners of the Earth. Get in the queue and don't miss this great move of God.

Stay pure and filled with the Holy Spirit:

                  Ecclesiastes 9:8 KJV
Let thy garments be always white; and let thy head lack no ointment.

                  Amen!

How To Harness God's Exceedingly Abundant Ability In You

                  Redeeming Time, What It Means

Last night I went to bed at 2am, and at around 8am I was still fast asleep only to be sent out of sleep by this deep male voice which emphatically said to me, "REDEEM THE TIME, FOR THE DAYS ARE EVIL!"

My flesh was tired and needed a good sleep, I said to myself. But I happened to had over-slept (which never has a positive impact on me). Even while sleeping, I could see myself praying, but actually waking up to do it was difficult. The spirit is always willing, but let's be frank, most times we give the go-ahead for the flesh to be weak.

When I got up, the Holy Spirit expounded to me on this very message that came to me in my sleep and it wasn't just about me, but the entire Church; the end time Church!
I was taken back to this Scripture:

Ephesians 5:14-16 KJV Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. [15] See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, [16] Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Why We Must Redeem Time (As Christians)

First of all, let me use what happened to me this morning as a case study. Medical experts often recommend having sufficient sleep, great! Yet it's also medically proven that too much sleep ruins our health. One prevalent effect of either sleeping too long or laying too long in bed is weakness of sight. But let's view this beyond the physical, medical aspect of it. Because it goes farther than that.

A greater objection to the not rising early, the not redeeming all the time we can from sleep, is that it hurts the soul, as well as the body; it is a sin against God.

Imagine having a huge dog which only loves eating and sleeping all day and night. Then a thief comes around to steal. While stealing the dog is asleep only to be awakened by the thief's footsteps walking out of the house. With his drowsy eyes and weak limbs, he stands up staggering, tries to figure out what's happening and can't bark until the thief successfully escapes out of the building. Who would love to employ and keep a drowsy watchman? No one!

Slothfulness is also attributed to sleeping too much. How can a sleeping Church be an effective tool in the hands of God? What am I saying in essence? A sleeping Church is a lazy, blunt-edged, less-viable, less-productive and less-potent Church. I'm not talking about buildings but each and everyone of us who is truly saved. We can not be good soldiers of Christ when we're a self-indulgent, sleeping Church!

The enemy carries out his three-pronged assignment of stealing, killing and destroying (John 10:10) and gets away with it because the Church is sleeping.

                    Matthew 13:25 KJV
But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

I went to bed late, fine, but before 8am I must had regained a lot of strength and the LORD expected me to be up and about the business for the day, so does He concerning the Church.

The Church is a living organism, not a lifeless building. The LORD expects us to be up and doing. The harvest is indeed plentiful but the labourers are still few.

The enemy gains more ground when Christians stop fighting, yes. Many have given up and many are presently caught up in the affairs of the world.

Many are also going through a lot in this season, no doubt, and some times it can be really painful, but it's part of our cross. The LORD has given us Grace to endure every form of hardship, and He expects us to still be the Church He must use so mightily to turn the world up-and-down!

                    • How much time are we presently spending with God?
                    • Does the LORD get greater percentage of our time than we give to ourselves and things that gratify self?
                    • Do we still pray as much as we normally did before?
                    • Do we still wake up in the middle of the night to crack down on the works of darkness with fiery prayers?
                    • How close are we presently to God?
                    • How presently devoted are we to the things of the Kingdom?

These are some questions we should all take personal and soberly reflect on.

It's not possible for a Christian to be truly devout without denouncing his sensuality. Consider a man who cannot rise early in his prayers. What conquest has he got over himself?

How We Can Redeem Time In The Last Days

We've had enough of sleep and the roof is already leaking and dripping through. It's high time to wake up and out of this spiritual slumber. That is the will of the LORD. But how do we go about it?

                    1. Repentance

We all know where we've missed it in our relationship with the LORD and service in His Kingdom. Let none of us think we have outgrown repentance. The first step is always to truly admit we've messed up and then ask for the LORD'S forgiveness. He always forgives.

                    2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

                    2. Single-Eyed Pursuit of The Kingdom

This present world is not our home, we're God's ambassadors. We have an assignment committed to our trust. The way we handle that assignment has the power to determine our eternal fate. It is that serious! We should let nothing get in our way of carrying out and fulfilling our God-given assignment.

                    2 Timothy 2:4 KJV
No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

                    3. Living With Eternity In View At All Times

Let's not get so caught up with self, what we're going through and the world to the extent our focus gets misplaced from things that are eternal to things that are temporal. That's a very risky life to live!

                    4. Stripping Off Weights That Draw Us Back

                    Hebrews 12:1 KJV
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us , and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.

                    5. Prudence, Rationality

It's just one life we've got on this present Earth. We must be careful not to live it out pleasing and displeasing God till the day it's taken from us. For when we step into eternity we can not turn back the hands of time to correct our mistakes. Every new day we wake up to see is another opportunity given us to do right.

                    6. Diligence With Your Time

Brethren, time is short and must be spent wisely. It must be spent only on what matters and not on frivolities. Time is being abused so much, especially by Christians and that isn't having a positive impact on our spiritual growth and the Kingdom of God in general.

                    Final Words

By our human strength we can not rise early to be about the Kingdom business. Our strength will always fail us, therefore we must make the Strong One, the Almighty, our closest friend.

                    Isaiah 40:28-29 KJV
Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. [29] He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.

                    Consider this;

                    Matthew 24:43-47 KJV
But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. [44] Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. [45] Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? [46] Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. [47] Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

                    1 Corinthians 9:24 KJV
Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.
